Most Helpful Positive Review Great Product for Strobing !
I bought this product back in April and LOVE it! I use the strobing method now instead of contouring because it's a heatwave right now in new york---and this product is amazing! I love it! And brown skinned girls--this product--unlike the awful contouring stick--is GREAT for our skin tones! It makes my skin glow! True to its title! Get it and you will be happy! I use it EVERYDAY! :)
Most Helpful Critical Review Glittery, not shimmery
Not really an illuminator, in my opinion. It does make my skin look brighter from a distance, but you can tell I'm wearing it look close up and I looked shiny after a few hours. There are huge flakes of glitter, instead of finely ground pieces to give the glowy look. The only acceptable time to wear would be a night on the town or to a show. I thought I would give it a try since I love their lipsticks, but this is no bueno.

I use over makeup or alone. Really lights up the face and is easy to apply. Love this product!

Perfect for that summer glow
Jess from Pittsburgh
This goes on great by itself or over your foundation as a highlighter. Love it for summertime.
Too much glitter chunks

I thought this was going to be more of a subtle glow but it's super glittery

doesn't do anything to me
"Natural" is a stretch
emilygrace_25 from Burlington, VT
This highlighter does its job. For me personally it's a little too intense and I find that I have to use a very small amount. I don't think the highlight is natural at all, it's pretty obvious you've got a super shimmery highlighter on. But if that's what you're looking for this would be great and it's inexpensive.
Affordable and Fabulous
Ella from South Carolina
I use this as a primer under my foundation and a little goes a long way! I apply my foundation on top and boom, an instantly glowy, natural look. I highly recommend getting it in the shade sunbeam, that's the one I use, not sure how the others look on.
Does what it's supposed to!
Andy from Seattle
For the price and product this does exactly what you'd expect it to do. I do a few drops high on my cheekbones towards my temples. It's great and I prefer it to powder because it gives you the dewy look!
A bit too orange.

On the nose and as blush.
Best illuminating bronzer I've ever tried!
Ladano from Fresno, CA
Gives a subtle glow & lasts all day.
Bought PURE GOLD.
Lisa from USA
I thought I would get a nice glow from this. I'm about a NC45 and bought the Pure Gold and it's too dark. It's a bit darker than my skin color. Also, it's not gold. It's more of a copper (notice the orange undertone). The color or the illuminator is the same color as the bottle it comes in. It also has micro-glitter. Maybe I should have tried gleam but if there's micro-glitter in that as well, I don't want it. I have another liquid illuminator by another company and it doesn't contain micro-glitter. I'll return this.
Love this bronzer!

I use this product to add a natural glow and color to cheeks.

Literally makes u glow from within out. When the sun hits your face you can see the sparkles of glitter shining. Does not make your face oily nor does it move your foundation. Best secret weapon for a dewy skin look!
Great add in to foundation
Shannon from Northern Virginia
I mix this in with my cc cream and it adds a great flow to your skin without looking too fake. This color complements my fair complexion well and doesn't make me look pink or red toned at all.
Kim from Chicago
I mix a small amount with my foundation on my sponge. You have to blend your foundation fast when using this because it dries quickly - which can be a pain. I purchased this because my fav Revlon skinlights is discontinued. 3.5 stars
excellent and looks natural
Taylor from TX
This illuminator gives my skin a natural glow without looking too obnoxiously shiny. What I enjoy about this product is that you can use it without makeup just to enhance your natural look
Perfect for a Subtle Glow
LaHa61 from Ft. Lauderdale, FL
I own at least 10 highlighters ranging in price from $10.00 to $35.00 & brands ranging from drug store to prestige all of which I found way to glittery or intense. Thi
I chose Sun Goddess which works beautifly with my deep, warm skintone. its blendable, doesn't overpower and is streak-free.

I've been using this illuminator for a while now and it's my favorite! It's perfect to use as a primer or mix with moisturizer for a bronze glow. I also like to use it on my eyelids and under eye as a liquid eyeshadow. If you're looking for a poppin highbeam highlight this won't work because it's such a light formula, but it's perfect for a subtle glow. I use Pure Gold and it's perfect on my olive skin ✨
Use this for a natural look.
Maria from Albany NY
I use gleam on the apples of my cheeks as a blush and sunbeam to highlight my cheek bones when I wear BB or CC cream and am going for a more natural look. Sometimes I'll just use sunbeam for blush and highlight. This stuff dries down and gives me a glow ALL DAY!!! I use a tinted moisturizer from clinique because its the only one I have found that actually dries down and isn't greasy and hard to blend into the skin .
Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator...

Good illuminator. Not too sparkly.
Yes I have used this for sometime.

Just the right amount of color
Marilyne from New York City
I blend this product with my foundation in the winter months when my skin tends to look paler due to the colder months and spending less time outdoors.
Doesn't do the job on brownskin
Nina35 from Canton, MI.
I tried this in "Sun Goddess" after applying foundation, and setting powder. I put it on top of my dark brown contour powder on my cheeks after contouring, and it did nothing but leave a streak on the side of my face, so I had to redo my entire face. I even mixed it with my liquid foundation and it still did absolutely nothing for me...... Literally no glow. For reference I am a caramel shade WOC. I would not buy this again, because it did not serve its purpose.

Product allows a light shimmer with a natural sun glow
mesaboulder from Rochester
It's very glittery and it also dries quickly, leaving you with chunkier glitter on your cheeks. Granted the glitter isn't very chunky but it is quite thick for an illuminator. I was expecting more of a metallic glow. It could be good for festival looks or something like that if you want to quickly put on glitter but not for a sheen of illumination.
