Most Helpful Positive Review #1 Fair. Love all things Benefit💄
I have the old version & I really hope this new 1 is no different. Although I do have dark circles under my eyes- I don't use this concealer for that. I use a routine including Erase Paste (now called Boi-ng Brightening Concealer). I like this product for things like- shaling/cleaning up brows, etc. Its a very versatile product. My pot is still very full & I have had it for a LONG time.

My dark circle must have been put there by the devil himself, because after reading all the great reviews about this product, I decided to buy it, and it doesn't work well for me. :(
I love the way it applies so smoothly and I love the finish, but it doesn't hide my dark circles any better than my liquid concealer from another brand. I'm disappointed, but not surprised, these suckers aren't going anywhere.

Decline in quality
Disappointed from Houston, TX
I used this when it was erase paste and then the boi-ing brightening concealer and now this product, boi-ing industrial strength concealer. This iteration of the concealer does a poor job compared to its previous iterations.
It doesn't have the same thickness as it used to, so it doesn't provide the same coverage. It also seems that the tint isn't the same either.
Additionally, the cost has remained the same but the product size has decrease from .15 oz to .1 oz.
I have purchased and used this item for years.

Best concealer ever!

It covers everything effortlessly! Doesn't matter if it was redness, acne scars, or dark circles. Absolutely love!
Love this product to cover spider veins on my face
Mom in NC from Cary, NC
I have been using this for several years to cover spider veins on my face. I use an angled cosmetic brush to apply and blend it. I have an olive complexion (I am of Italian and Scandinavian descent) and the #3 is just right for my skin tone. It's not waterproof and will stain fabric (eg: white towels and pillowcases) if you don't scrub it off thoroughly enough, but overall I love this and am grateful for it.

I wanted to love this product. The ease of application was wonderful however the company claims that it does not settle into fine lines and I found that to be false for my skin. I wanted to love it. I tried different under eye primers different under I ointments, even different concealer brushes but still had the instant creases.

Not the same as Erase Paste
KnittinKityn from Chicagoland
I bought the Erase Paste a few years ago specifically because it was made without silicones. The new formula has Phenyl Trimethicone as the second ingredient. I cannot use any form of silicones or silica without itching and/or getting hives.
Comparing the Erase Paste ingredients to the current products, the Boi-ing Brightening Concealer is very close but only comes in shades 04 and 06.

Something changed. This is so drying!

I didn't expect too much since I'm not the biggest fan of benefit products but this was awful. It is so dry and the shade range is so bad. I got light medium and it's so dark and ashy and looks brown. I will say you get a good amount of product but the packaging is so annoying. The cap never wants to go on right and always missing the grooves (since you have to take the whole cap off and to use it,it doesn't flip up). And then I accidentally bought two (not their fault it's just funny that I don't like it at all and bought 2). I have tried this for spot concealing too and it breaks up my foundation and leaves this weird hue. Don't like it, don't recommend it.
BROKE ME OUT
Ellie from San Diego, CA
I used this product for a few months. I actually bought it because I was struggling a lot with blemishes and wanted to cover them. So I was recommended this concealer, told it probably wouldn't break me out. I loved how it was so easy to apply and covered things really well, better than any other concealer I tried. It also matched my skin perfectly (I got No.2). But after a few months, I realized it made my acne SO much worse. I stopped using it and my acne has cleared up so much since then but it took several months and was a frustrating process. Pleaseeeee if you're concerned about your skin breaking out, be careful if you decide to purchase this product.

Not the best concealer I've tried, but it does the job, probably would not purchase again though in the future. Shade range is a little off and tends to oxidize fast, you have to make sure you really blend it in as well. I used to apply with fingers and blend out by my fingers but using a makeup sponge is a lot better. Covers my pimples pretty good, under eye looks okay but rubs off and creases fast even with primer and setting spray. Meh.
Not the same as Boiing Brightening Concealer

I purchased this because I was told it was the same thing as the brightening concealer, but unfortunately it's not the same product. So disappointed. It doesn't help with dark under eye circles.

The shade range is awful. The lightest shade is way too dark on me and I'm more light than fair. This range in unacceptable; it's 2020, be more inclusive.
Not the best, but it's okay

I was hoping that this concealer would compare to NARS, but it just doesn't. It's pretty thin, so I have to use it in layers to cover under my eyes, but once that's done it does cover decently. It's definitely more "buildable coverage" than "full coverage". It's slightly orange, which makes it good for offsetting blue/purple, but I can't use it to cover anything else.

the formula has definitely changed not as good as the old one. I use it cover up broken capillaries. it use to last longer.

I actually need a shade lighter in this product, so I use this in place of putting foundation on my face. This is a great product. Love!

Smooths out so good best concealer hands down

I started using this about 15 years ago, when my skin had virtually no issues. Now I have dark circles and a few fine lines under my eyes. In the past 15 years so many new concealers have come out, and I've tried so many of them, and returned so many of them. Boing is just the best, hands down. If it's a 'run errands' kind of day, I use the regular Boing concealer. For a night out or whenever i need to look my best, it's Industrial Strength Boing. It covers EVERYTHING, it doesn't crease. You don't have to tug at your eye to apply it. It stays where you put it. It doesn't oxidize and change color. It actually feels good on your eye area. You can layer this and it won't cake up. It's just the perfect concealer. It also pairs perfectly with Benefit's Erase Paste and Lemonade without looking cakey or overly made up.
I know Benefit is known for their line of brow products, which are all wonderful, but they really should spend some time advertising their concealers because they're amazing.
lasla from reading pa
its pretty good and lasts a pretty long time (it doesnt dry out if you close the lid properly) but the lightest shade is a bit too dark for me so i have to mix it with my elf concealer or some moisturizer
I would never buy this product again
Cali from chicago il
I would buy any other concealer than this stuff. You have to either get your hands all sticky and gross to apply or use a brush. Also, the product dried out if you don't use it all in about 2 months.
It's an ok product
Erin from Milwaukee, WI
I bought this to replace the now extinct Benefit Erase Paste concealer. I heard ti was "basically" the same thing. It is not, at all. The texture is completely different, this is almost like a cream to powder it feels like and I feel like I have to use much more to get the same kind of coverage as Erase Paste. Minus these issues, it is an ok undereye concealer once you get used to it more. I do feel like it doesn't tend to crease as much which is definitely a plus. If i wasn't under the assumption this was basically the new Erase Paste, I might have liked it a little more, but for me, it is just ok. It does it's job in the end so I would recommend it.
GREAT FORMULA A MUST BUYY

This concealer didn't even stick to my face wiped off in a matter of no time. Would be better for someone with dry skin probably.
Not as good as the old product
Carousel from Columbus, oh
I used to love this when it was erase paste. You get less product and the formula just seems different. It's not as pastey, it's super smooth, I can barely even tell I got any on my applicator sponge and feels like less coverage
