This shampoo worked really well for me. It does a great job of getting brassy tones out of blonde hair. IT also leaft my hair feelng soft before applying a conditoner which is hard to find in toning shampoos and it also smells pretty good. I would say give this a try.
PS. A handy trick I learned ElleBangs is to squize half a lemon on your hair in the shower before using a purple shampoo. It really does help the purple shampoo to work better and you wont have to use the purple shampoo as much .
I love what the product does for my hair, but the smell is almost unbearable. It does everything it says it will: helps counteract brassiness, stay bright, keep hydrated, and be strong. The smell however, smells like aerosol bug spray. The forest time I used the shampoo and conditioner (which has the same stench) even my boyfriend commented that my hair looked great but smelled bad. I have re-purchased this product, but only recommend using it if your after-shower routine includes additional products that will help cover the odor. Hopefully the scent will be re-done in the near future.

I loved this shampoo. I'm a strong believer in purple shampoo's, and this one is worth your dollars! It got rid of yellow and brass tones in my hair, leaving it a beautiful almost silver color!

The best purple shampoo out there. Deep rich purple pigment that really helps tone down the brassiness, but what really sets it apart from the other purple shampoos is that it is sulfate free. This leaves my hair so soft after, instead of drying it out. Smells great too!

I never knew I needed this brand! I'm so glad I chose to buy it. It's worth it and leaves your hair feeling so healthy and soft. The only thing I do not like is that the shampoo does not sud up as much & you would have to use a lot. Other than that I love it

I HATE brassy hair!! I've tried so many different purple shampoos. This is not the best I've tried, but it held its own. Caught it on sale and I'm so glad I gave it a shot. By far the best smelling of purple shampoos! Don't hesitate, give a try!

I have bought this shampoo over and over and over again. It truly does keep your blonde very blonde. It smells good too!

I had used a purple shampoo on my blonde hair years ago, and stopped when the product was discontinued, and there were no alternatives I was aware of back then. But that was okay: I was happy with my color as it was. Lately, though, it has been more yellow-y with less of its natural ash tone, and wondered if a purple toning shampoo would help. I went with the Sexy Hair version because it had fewer complaints about staining, and I'm glad I did. I've had no problems with this, but more important, after one use my hair was back to where it should be. I'm really glad I purchased this.

Best purple shampoo I've used! I've tried a bunch and now this is the only shampoo I will use! It's highly pigmented and does not dry out your hair like all of the others I've used. Plus it smells so good! Highly recommend!

This product is a bit on the liquidity side and it lathered up well but after using it I couldn't tell a difference so idk if this product is even worth buying unless it's on sale.

Shampoo using this product 2-3 times per week. Keeps my hair looking blonde NOT gold.

Smell is amazing and I was so in love with this. However, it undid the highlights my hair stylist did and then even worse, IT MADE MY HAIR A PURPLE/GRAY TINT! My hair stylist looked and suggested I stop using this immediately. It makes you gray and purple. It doesn't keep your hair blonde. So now I'm on the hunt for new products

Does not lather well, which makes me feel like I am missing spots so I use more than I probably need to. It smells good though and it has kept the brass at bay.

So I had Biolage, Redken and Pureology purple shampoos. Well Redken and Biolage were not sulfate free and made my hair into nits. The Pureology is good but it weighs my hair down. Its also very thick so you have to wash it out good. Now the Sexy Purple guves me the right hydration and volume. Its also sulfate free! Better for hair and tones my brassy hair. I have not try Pravana yet since I heard this is comparable to it. So far Out if the 4 purple shampoo I have this one is the best. Its always best to use sulfate free shampoos its more gentle on your hair. I dont know if its good for Keratin treatment hair.

I bought this because I recently got my hair balayaged with color 8a and also bought matching tape in hair extensions. I dont know why many stylists never tell clients to use a purple shampoo so I looked it up myself! I went into Ulta and looked for an hour for a sulfate free purple shampoo and found this on my way out! I have used it too times and it has not dried out my hair or my extensions which is great. I am going to get more !

Easy to use. Do not have to use daily

Honestly the shampoo is good, but I'm going to agree with an earlier comment from another that pravana perfect blonde is better. I wish I knew more about reading ingredients because reading my pravana prior to getting a keratin treatment done it looks as if it was loaded with sodium chloride, but I'm reading and realizing it actually isn't, it's salt free, there's just ingredients with the word "sodium" in it. Now this one I went to ulta and asked if there was a shampoo (purple shampoo) that is keratin treatment safe, this was recommended. Well I used it once and it seemed fine but reading the ingredients and comparing them to my pravana I'm seeing now that it looks like my pravana is safer than this stuff . Sodium c14-16 olefin sulfonate is a harsh chemical and it's one of the first ingredients in the blonde sexy. Now I'm seeing the terms with the word sodium in then In my pravana are not salts, the shampoo is salt and sulfate free, I just don't see why the girl at ulta would have recommended the pravana instead. Im still giving this shampoo 4 stars because even though it's not what I needed. , it was still a very good toning shampoo. And even with that harsher chemical in it my keratin treatment held up and was ok after a wash, I won't be using it again as it seems my pravana will be just fine, but if I ever run out it'll be a good back up

Great shampoo. Leaves my hair soft and shiny. Doesn't dry out my hair like a lot of other purple shampoos. Helps keep my highlighted hair longer.
Heather from California
I didn't notice a difference at all while using this shampoo.
I recommend Pravana The Perfect Blonde hair mask, it works way better to keep a nice platinum blonde without brassiness.

I absolutely LOVE this shampoo! Smells great and makes my hair shine!
