Most Helpful Positive Review Pretty impressed so far Due to another review, I tried this shampoo for my fine, damaged hair prone to drying from other anti-brass shampoos. I agree with her. Less drying and damaging than other violet shampoos I have tried. The only thing I dislike is the sulfate due to sulfates tending to be harsh/drying on fragile hair and strip color, yet sulfate DOES tend to unclog my follicles and make my scalp feel healthier. It's a dilemma for my type of hair. Perhaps this is a low-sulfate formula since it's gentle to dry ends, yet effectively cleans scalp and deposits cool color? Furthermore, this violet shampoo contains impressive ingredients listed first which combat weak hair, such as keratin. The list of ingredients is very short which tends to be more gentle on my hair. I use it one per week and leave on for 5-10 minutes alternating with my sulfate-free shampoos, such as It's A 10 w/keratin and Nioxin for color-treated and thinning. Bottom line: Effective at reducing brassiness, less-drying than others and non-clogging of scalp. Will repurchase.
Most Helpful Critical Review Too strong of scent I have natural blonde hair, main issue is oiliness. I use a purple shampoo from time to time to enhance my hair. This shampoo gives a nice rich lather which I loved. I'm not a fan of the scent, smells like Japanese Cherry blossom from bath and body works. I could see this working great for people with color treated hair because it's non drying. But I really hate the scent so will be returning.

Not as pigmented as others but also doesn't dry your hair out like many other purple shampoos do. I use this and their purple conditioner usually once a week to get rid of yellow & brassy tones that happen with blonde hair or highlights. If you hairs extremely brassy you may need a few applications to see the results you want, but this is a great purple shampoo especially for those with dry, damaged hair or swimmers whose hair turns from the chlorine. Love to be able to get rid of those yellow tones without drying my hair out more!

I love this shampoo EXCEPT the bottle design. If you don't press the lid super tight gravity makes the shampoo leak all out all over your shower causing purple stain everywhere and you are out a whole bottle of shampoo. Can this come in a bigger upright bottle??

I used this once a week and saw that my hair didn't get as brassy as when I didn't use one, so I'd say it works. The only downside is that there isn't much product in the container, so it doesn't last very long. The scent is very nice, as well.

Smells good. Starts purple but turns white so it doesn't stain the shower. But it barely works, like I hardly notice a difference in the tone of my hair.

This has been my most repurchased purple shampoo for my blonde hair. It lasts much longer than the OGX one. The smell is great which isn't common for a toning shampoo. I am satisfied!

I love the smell of this stuff. It is so heavenly. The pigment is really dark so it helps a lot with toning brass ones in blonde hair. I also love that it doesn't have a drying affect on the hair after rinsing. It's a bigger price tag than I would like but it's worth the money.

I've used several purple shampoos, but this has quickly became my favorite. You can actually tell a difference in you hair after using this one. It smells good and did not stain the shower like some of my other shampoos have.

Hands down the best purple shampoo i have tried, i use it about once or twice a week to keep my blond looking fresh! This formula leaves my hair super soft and manageable. It smells amazing and works wonders. I couldn't have been more satisfied with this product.

I love this stuff! After trying out a ton of tone correcting purple shampoos and masks I can confidently say this one is the one for me! It's the only thing I've used that actually keeps my color the way I want it between toning. You can see the difference in a single use.

This purple shampoo smells fantastic and works pretty well! It's definitely not as drying as most purple shampoos I've used, but it also doesn't have quite the toning pay off. Definitely great if you want to use a purple shampoo multiple times a week!

This shampoo smells amazing and last a long time! I've had my bottle for over 2 months. It's gets the job done, but for hair like mine that tends to hold a lot of golden tones, I have used other purple shampoos that I've liked better. Good price for what you get, but not the best purple shampoo.

I read multiple reviews on different products, but decided to give this a try! I am about a month in and so far, I'm loving it! It has a great smell and lathers very well! My hair turns brassy so easily and so far, no brassy tones! It does leave your fingers a light hint of purple but it's a purple shampoo! No complaints here!
