I use this style clip to put my hair up in the shower. I wrap a bun and this type of clip encloses the hair without putting crimps in it.
These clips are really great but I thought I was getting a slightly larger size. I have long (mid-back)med-fine, wavy hair and I can not get this size to completely cover the bun like my previous one. (They eventually break but I get at least a year of daily use - maybe longer).
I would recommend this particular size for very thin hair or if you only wanted to put up half of your hair.
Not made out of very strong material...broke the first time I tried to use it. I haven't even bothered to use the other one yet. May be better for a smaller amount of hair.

wrapping my hair in a knot and applying at the back of your head

I work outdoors and often pull my hair back but I hate using hair ties since they give me headaches. These clips are comfortable and hold my hair in place. I have fine hair but these clips manage to keep my hair from slipping out unlike other clips I've used.

The clips are hard to open and require two hands which is not good when you likely will have one hand holding your hair up to be clipped. 🤔

My two pale clips are both difficult to open & they are too small for all of my hair. Very useful for half poney's & sturdy once in. I don't believe my hair is a lot thicker than normal, but maybe I'm wrong. Probably very good for thinner & shorter hair.

Better off going somewhere else to get these especially at the price Ulta has them at. They are hard to open & cheaply made they broke within a couple uses. Gave it one star because it wouldn't let me submit zero stars.

I didn't buy it but it had this spider effect on me when I held it and tried to almost try it on. Almost horrifting.

it's impossible to open. it just shouldn't be that hard

Elie from Papillion, Ne
Love that these are big and wide enough for my very thick and curly hair.
Evie from Raleigh NC
I like the shape of the product however the spring is too tight that it takes both hand to open the clasp
Unhappy customer from Upland, Ca
Clip was hard to open & one of them already broke.
Cy from St. Paul, MN
easy to put in place with one hand, which is important

Very cute and holds a good amount of hair but it is very difficult to squeeze to get it to open! I am going to return.
Desi from Houston, Texas
Very affordable and cute. Better than the basic clips from your regular hair supply store. I work 12 hour shifts and needed a clip that would keep my hair up all day and this helped a lot.
Sue from Wooster ohio
Didn't work for me

Would not recommend this product to anyone whether your hair is thick, medium or thin. Entire clip flew out of my hair and broke into pieces.
Nurse Kelly from Portland, MI
In the store the clip is fastened to the package with a very tight plastic strap so you would never know how hard it is to open the clip. You need two hands to open it. How practical is that? Then, I had it in an overnight bag and the clip already snapped. I know that happens with hair clips but not the first time you travel with it. The clip looks cool bc it's a different shape but do not waste your money. I wish I could return it.

It broke before I even used it...
Lois from West allis, WI
So difficult to open two hands needed meaning the hair i was trying to put up is now falling down.

I would not recommend these for someone who has arthritis as these clips are difficult to open. However, they do hold my thick hair well and stay in place without sliding out.

It took me both hands to open this clip which is difficult to do when you need one hand to hold your hair up. I had to open it with both and clasp it in an object so I could then use one hand to fix hair.

It's just a hair clip. When I don't have time to add my extensions
