Most Helpful Positive Review love this cleansing oil! I am employer at ulta but my store doesn't carry skinfoood in store so i ordered online. I don't even care that I didn't get my employee discount on it because it works so well! (You only recieve your discount in store) This is a very lightweight oil and a small amount goes a long way which I appreciate because it will last me longer. I wear full face make up everyday ( foundation, bronzer, high light, eyeliner the whole nine yards lol) and this removed it all with ease! I also own the black sugar wash off mask from the same line and highly recommend them both. So glad I'm able to order quality Korean skincare from Ulta!
Most Helpful Critical Review Too thin to work right The first oil cleanser I tried from the Julep one, which I also reviewed on here. I found that one too thick to work with, so I got this one to see if it'd work better. Honestly, I find this one worse. At least with the Julep cleanser, when I added some extra, it felt like it was actually cleaning my face. This one feels like I need to dump an entire palm worth of product just to work it around my skin.
Now, I'm not saying this is a bad cleanser in general. It rinses off like a dream, smells amazing, the packaging is great, BUT the viscosity is just too thin for any skin type except oily to very oily, which I think this is better suited for. If someone with dry skin tried to use this product, their skin may end up drinking the oil before they were done rubbing it!
Consider your skin type before picking out an oil cleanser, it really does make a difference on performance!

Best oil to take my makeup off and doesnt harm my skin in any way. Whats not to love? I'd repurchase again when I run out. Only downside is that it is online only.
Works great 👍🏻 5

I always use this before shower, it takes off oil, make-up and sunscreen.
Works perfectly 5

I have a normal/Dry skin. This oil helps to remove oil, dirt and sunscreen.
There are bits of sugar in there 2
Doc from Los Angeles
There is solid sugar in there, a very small amount, but when rubbing this into my face it starts to feel like it's damaging it. Like a walnut scrub.
Did not remove my eye makeup 1
Katina from MD
I've been using oil cleansers/balms for years as the first step in my double cleanse. This oil cleanser did not remove my mascara and I do not wear waterproof mascara. Annoyed I have to finish this entire bottle. If you want a better performing product, look at Banila, Boscia or Etude House.
Works great! 5

Great scent and gets all my makeup off! Love it, leaves my skin feeling nice and soft too. Sadly its an online product only, but worth it imo. It even helps for dry skin people if you use it on bare skin alone for a quick cleanse and some moisture. Totally recommend this line!

gets all my makeup off, no unpleasant smell. skin isn't broken out. it's a win for me!
Very nice cleansing oil 5
Katharita from San Antonio
This cleansing oil has a medium consistency - not runny but not too thick to apply easily. Applied to a dry face this removed all makeup, including mascara and eyeliner. It has a zesty lemon scent which I like.
My Favorite I've tried 5
Erikita0730 from Northeast
In my search for a cleanser that won't strip my combo/dry skin but will take off all makeup and cleanse my skin in the process(I do not double cleanse), this is the best so far. I've tried bare minerals, Kiels and Burt's bees, this one beats them all! The smell is light. It's not as thick as Burt's bees but takes off makeup better without leaving a residue. It's cheaper then both Kiel's and bare minerals so this is my winner when I can find it in stock. The smell reminds me of light brown sugar with a hint of lemon maybe? I don't know but the scent is light. I love it and the ingredients rock.
My new favorite cleanser! 5

I've used a few other oil cleansers before, and this is the best I've found! It really removes everything. I love that it removes my mascara without any harsh rubbing on my eyes. I have fair, sensitive skin, that tends to be dry and is often red and acne prone. This product did not irritate my skin or make me break out. It left a clean, slightly matte look and feel. I followed the instructions, wet my face first and use 2-3 pumps on wet hands, working into a later on my skin. I just order 2 more to stock up!
Not my favorite. 3

This works fairly well as the first (rather runny) step in a double-cleanse, but it is strongly scented, and that scent is basically lemon Pledge. For that reason alone, I hate using it. My nighttime routine is a tedious, multi-step process, so I want to enjoy the products I'm using, not feel like I've sprayed furniture polish all over my face. I've repurposed mine into a brush cleaner, and it works pretty darn well for that.
Not for sensitive skin 1
Kim from Midwest
I used it once and had an allergic reaction to it. My entire face is red and covered in a rash. If you have sensitive skin please pass on this.
I love it! 5

I had the black sugar scrub in the tube before they (I guess) discontinued it). I'm always a bit skeptical of cleansing oils, as I haven't had good luck with them in the past. But...since I liked the other, I tried it. And I love it! It smells wonderful. Takes off my waterproof eye makeup well. Doesn't leave my skin feeling tight. I will definitely buy it again!

one squirt of this literally takes off all of my makeup - it is fantastic.
Great value, removes makeup 5

This is perfect for removing makeup at the end of the day. Because it's made with sugar, it also seems to exfoliate well. Will definitely buy again.
Really clean 5
Shirley from San Juan, PR
This product worth the hype!!! Although it is a oil cleanser does not leave the face greasy and really clean the face without leaving residues especially in the area of the eyes, I recommend this product for all kind of skin
AMAZING!!! 5
Britt from Texas
This stuff is literally AMAZING!!!! It literally gets every last bit of makeup off my face. Including my eyelash glue. No cons here 😊
One of my favorite cleansing oils! 5
Michca from Orange County, CA
I've used this for over a year and I love it. It is a light oil that removes all of my makeup, including heavy-duty waterproof eyeliner. It helps if you just rest your fingers on your closed eyes to let the oil work on your lashes without all the rubbing (cause that makes wrinkles!) and then rub gently to get rid of the pesky eye makeup. Also wet your hands and rub, which causes the oil to emulsify and give you an extra clean before you rinse. Skin is left soft with a nice, natural brown sugary lemon scent.
doesn't remove everything 4
xtina from riverside, ca
this is the third oil cleanser I have used and compared to my previous ones, this one is okay. I felt that while it smells good and is very lightweight, I still see my eye makeup like leftover eyeliner that it didn't pick up. price and size makes up for it
Great for removing makeup! 5
Beauty Noob from Indiana
Having oily skin, I never considered using oil to clean my skin but let me tell you... this works! It makes the makeup just melt off and it's super gentle. I love it!
What a find! 5
Amy from Western PA
Looking to find an effective and gentle face wash for my previously T-zone oily, now dryer premenopausal skin. Looking no further! This stuff is great. Removed my stubborn waterproof mascara easily and softens skin immediately. I didn't read the online instructions first and the bottle has no English instructions. My first time using I put on a cotton ball thinking it was like a micellar water, boy was I wrong, that didn't go well! So make sure you don't make the same mistake. I have noticed that my clogged pores are clearing up after a week of use. Hopefully over time it'll also soften my eye wrinkles that I swear have increased due to previous rubbing of other products to remove waterproof mascara.
Makeup Be Gone 5
JCrystal from Racine,WI
I was never a big fan of oil cleansing but I think that's because I either used the wrong ones or listened to people who used the wrong ones. This has the feel of an oil until you rinse with water and it liquifies into a milky substance to be easily removed. Face is left smooth and makeup is removed easily. If I wear waterproof mascara I usually cleanse twice and it is all removed. Doesn't irritate my eyes or skin and does not break me out. Love it. Not to mention it's less waste! Bonus!
Love for my dry skin 5
hroser5 from hibbing mn
This cleansing oil is perfect for getting all my makeup off, including stubborn eye makeup. I only need 1-2 pumps, gently massage over my skin, then rinse away. my skin always feels supple afterwards. Worth every penny.
I would by this again and again 5
DeeS from TX
I've gone through 3 bottles of this. It takes off all my makeup, including eye makeup. It reduces pores and keeps my skin looking clear. When I take the time to use it for a facial massage before emulsifying, it also helps keep fine lines reduced on my forehead. I had to stop using it due to some sensitivity, but once my skin gets over it I plan to start using it again.
Does the job! 4
Amanda from Florida
I just wish there was more in the bottle.. I have to use at least 3 pumps to get the makeup off my face. It does a great job, but I bought this last week and I already finished 1/4 of the bottle! It does it job, i have no trace of makeup left behind, but I use way too many pumps.
