This is the best smelling heat styling primer. It is infused with coconut oil and it is vegan, paraben free and cruelty free. My hair is usually dry from medication that I take due to my chrons but this really repaired it from the inside out. It smells heavenly and I will purchase again and again. It is great and does what it claims. It makes your hair last 3 days after flat ironing or curling with no weigh down.
I really wanted to love this product but I've used it several times in varying amounts and it just doesn't work for me. I like the feel of it in my hands and it feels good being applied to towel dried damp hair, and it did seem to help my hair dry faster. BUT it made my hair feel like it was never quite dry, with a damp sticky residue that remained after styling. For me this meant that my usual heat styling process didn't work as well. I have thick coarse hair that usually holds style very well, but after using this product, my beach waves done with a 1.25" barrel curling iron didn't look as smooth and shiny as usual, and I noticed the hair getting caught in the barrel and clamp more. If you're someone who has finer hair and can use a smaller amount, and only blow dries without curling or flat ironing, this may work well for you. For detangling, conditioning, and heat protecting, I prefer the Eva NYC 10 in 1 primer spray which works better and is cheaper! I received this for free in return for an honest review.

I use this product before I blow dry my hair. My hair usually is damp when I use it. I blow dry with lasting results!

I have long gray hair so I needed something natural that wouldn't change the color. I love Biolage products so when I saw this heat protectant you use on damp hair, I knew I had to try it. It's natural so the smell is not "perfumy" at all, but not offensive either. My hair is medium texture and this really softens and shines without weighing it down.

I have fine, chemically processed hair but a lot of it. I use sulfate free/silicone free shampoo and conditioner. I have used DryBar Prep Rally for the longest time, but it has silicones which is stripping my hair from moisture. I like this product because I only need a nickel amount to the ends of my hair and then brush thoroughly. I apply it to wet hair and the blow dry and style. I straighten my hair every time I wash it. I have wavy/frizzy hair. The picture I have posted is right after I styled with this product! It is amazing! I'm not sure why it's getting such a bad rep. I'll be honest, it doesn't smell the best right out of the bottle - but it smells awesome after it is applied and after styling.

Unfortunately this didn't work for me, it smells good but it completely takes the shine from my hair and makes it look dull

I can tell a huge difference in my hair if I dont use this product. It makes my hair so soft and manageable for days, if I do not use the product, I have to wash my hair daily, and with use I can go 3 days.

Im always looking for something to tame my crazy hair. I tried the travel size and i loved it! I put it on before i straighten my hair and it looks great. And it lasts all day. My hair usually will start curling and gets fluffy after a couple hours but not with this product. And its light.

I bought this two months ago at my hair salon. The best purchase to date. Wonderful lasting smell and the best heat protectant for blow drying and flat ironing. Frizz free as well. My hair is super curly and it helps with the curls as well. I'm hooked.

I'm amazed! I've been struggling to find something that would help my frizzy/wavy/color-damaged hair and this product seems to be it. I've tried a ton of different products that haven't worked for me. I have some really fried patches of hair from going blonde and this serum gave me the smoothest blow out I've had in months. It feels really lightweight and not greasy at all in my experience. I'm for sure buying more of this since I started out with the travel size.

I absolutely hate to put product in my hair, but my new haircut has made my natural waves curl and the summer humidity had it insanely frizzy. Lady suggested this product because her daughter used it. It was a little sticky while it dried, but once it did, it held my waves all day and the next day my hair was really soft and still wavy.

Using the primer alone is great since I blow dry my hair to style. Worked great and didn't feel like my hair was fried after I blow-dryed. It is color treated and curly hair. I received this product complimentary for review purposes. #complimentry #free

I love the scent of this product, and find it valuable whenever I plan on doing a straighter, sleeker look with my heating tools. This protects and nourishes the hair from the crazy heat of an iron. That is one product I can get behind.
Jasmine from Santa Cruz, CA
This heat primer has a few great benefits, but also some drawbacks. As a set, with the shampoo and the conditioner, I really love it! But if you're not going to use the set and blow dry your hair, it leaves a lot of residue. It smells great, and the ingredients are more natural, which I love.
I received the Biolage R.A.W 3-piece set in exchange for my honest review.
Sarah G from Tennessee
This product was honestly all around disappointing.
I prefer any heat protectant to be in a spray form, I've never used one in a cream like this and it didn't seem to spread through my hair like I assumed it would. I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion.
Morgan the Bleach Blonde from Chattanooga, TN
I received this product free for testing, but my review is honest! I really enjoyed using this product! It smells great, and as someone with bleach blonde hair, it really helped protect against styling tools. I used it pre-blowdrying and my hair felt smooth and strong. The only complaint I have is that it was a little heavy in my hair. Four stars!
Lola from Dallas Texas
I saw no difference with this product. I liked the smell but nothing else stood out to me. Me hair was greasy and still frizzy.
VT Mom from Bennington, Vermont
This product requires an exact amount to deliver results without weighing down my hair with grease and residue. I have trouble finding that sweet spot and end up needing another product like dry shampoo to revive my style. My hair is fine and wavy, so perhaps it works better for someone with thicker hair. It is always gentle on my color-treated hair and smells great like the rest of the line. I tested Biolage R.A.W. for free; all opinions are my own.

I love using it right out of the shower and before I blow dry my hair
Sue4685 from Ohio
Tried this multiple times... too heavy for my hair, made it look greasy. Might be ok when I where it curly but definitely not good for when I wear it straight.
emprince from Redlands, CA
I received this product free for testing purposes. I was so excited to try it, as I'm always looking for natural hair care products for my color-treated hair. I used the shampoo, conditioner and heat primer for three weeks. Finally I had to give it up because it made my hair SO greasy. And not a day or two after showering, but as soon as my hair was dry it looked like I hadn't washed it in weeks! I hope they are able to improve the formula, because I really do love the concept.
olivia from los angeles
Definitely use this product on damp hair, it's too thick to use on dry hair. I prefer something i can use on dry hair too i.e. before flatironing. I tested this product for free but my opinions are my own.
Jenn from Boston, MA
I liked how easy it was to use and while the scent was a bit strong for my liking it was a nice smell at least. However, it is the consistency of conditioner and applies like one too. I found it left my hair too greasy
Sania from Washington DC
This is one of my favorite heat primers, it really does work! I constantly use heat styling tools and I can feel the difference in the texture of my hair!
Mary from Chicago, IL
This product is very heavy for a heat protectant and the ones that you are able to spritz on your hair work much better. If you have tho let or curlier hair, this would be a good product for you.
Alexis Y from McDonough, Ga
Smell was amazing but for fine hair the product was very greasy and sticky
Jackie R. from Highland, UT
I actually didn't like this product at all. It was greasy and heavy and if you get it, I would use the tiniest drop. It wasn't as hydrating as I anticipated. I received Biolage R.A.W. complimentary, however this is my honest opinion.
