After reading the reviews I added this Bijou Impressions hand held LED mirror to my cart. I've always wanted a vanity mirror from Impressionx Vanity. Even though, its only a hand held, its still from Impressions Vanity. This mirror is sturdy, well made and has weight to it. Its not too heavy, just that its not light. It feels great, in my hand. I was surprised it isnt real light weight. Thats a plus for me because, it tells me, its well made. It fits snuggly into its base, eash to pick up with one hand, not needing to hold down on its base to get out of it. The lighting is perfect. I'm 100% satisfied by the amount of lighting I'm getting from it. Its not too bright either. Its also very pretty. There are two one inch rows of crystals on the handle. They do not in anyway, get in my way when holding the mirror. The USB charging port appears to be like any other device, that charges by USB. There is a USB cord included but, if you want to recharge your mirror by wall adapter, you'll need to buy one. If you already have one at home, you can use it as long as its a a 5 volt. You can also charge it by using a power bank. Either one can be purchased affordably. Most people have the wall adapter at home anyway. You can also charge it by using your laptop. I've used my laptop for charging other devices that use a USB cable. Its not a big deal to get an adapter so dont let not having one stop you from buying this mirror. Its so awesome! The bottom of the base has skid proof feet or coasters. There is a smaller, 5X magnification mirror thats magnatized and sticks directly on the main mirror, for close up detail work. Plucking or primping! Touching the on/off switch also dims the lighting. Just hold your finger on the button without lifting your finger when you touch it and the lighting dims or brightens. The button is a touch screen button. Not a raised button. I'm stoked to finally have a mirror by Impressions Vanity. Check them out on IG .
I really wanted a stand mirror and I thought a lighted mirror that can be used as a handheld or on a stand would be great. Overall the mirror is nice. It came in a nice package. It's very pretty. It feels nice in my hand and the surface area of the glass is really a nice size. It charged quickly and came with a nice bag for storage, which I love. I really doubt that I will be using the lighting feature. The lights are very bright. I have not found a way to dim them yet. I don't know if I even have that option. But probably the worst part about the lights are their cool blue tone. I really dislike it for makeup application. It creates shadows on my face and gives my skin a very cold pale reflection. The lights should be warmer to mimic more natural lighting or have the ability to dim. I debated whether I should return it but I think I will keep it. I typically apply my makeup at my bathroom vanity so this was really meant to be an extra mirror I can have on hand when I had to do my makeup elsewhere. However, if it was my only makeup mirror, I would have returned it for something better.

Very comfortable. I wish it could be manipulated in the stand. But, love it for the money.

Obviously it's so pretty. Goes perfectly with my bathroom decor. Light gets really bright and dims! Love how you can take out the mirror and it's not to heavy to hold. Plus you get a mini 5x mirror. A lot of the reviews say it doesn't hold its charge. I've had it for a week first day I let it charge until the red light went off. Next day I did my makeup. I didn't re-charge it and the next day it was still charged while I did my makeup! So we'll see how it holds the charge after more uses. So one thing I've read in reviews and I don't like is that it doesn't bend. That so far to me is the only down side. So that's why I gave 4 stars and not 5

When I first got this mirror I loved it! It's super cute, charged fast and had great lighting that's adjustable. The only forseeable issue was that it didn't tilt so I had to get its own shelf to sit on or stack it on books. Fast forward to maybe a year later now, the base no longer charges, the larger mirror is scratched, and the battery dies in 20 minutes. I have to charge it off the base, plugging the cord directly into the bottom of the handle and can't use it on the brightest setting or it will die too soon. The mirror itself is scratched because the magnetized mirror sits in the middle of the glass, so every time you take it off or pop it back on the backing scrapes the mirror, now I have a nickel sized area in the middle of my mirror that's basically shredded. I really wanted this to work, and for this much, they should.

The lighting is as described but the magnification mirror is a small magnetic piece that attaches to the larger mirror. Not what I was looking for.

I purchased this mirror and had to return as the lights did not come on. Re-purchased the mirror and had no problems. I love the design of this mirror and it has great lighting with the ability to dim or brighten the lights, i also love the detachable mimi magnetic mirror, it is also easily cleaned with a simple wipe down. My biggest issue is that this mirror has a short battery life. I have charged the battery over night and used them mirror the following day to put my make up on, only to find that the mirror dies during my application. Keep in mind im no professional so the mirror dies after a 30-45 minutes of use!!! I purchased this mirror specifically for the lighting feature and the charging ability so its a bummer that it doesnt function optimally.

Mirror does not tilt, so i have to crouch down to put on my makeup. The battery dies quick, and when it does the light flickers like crazy.

I loved this mirror, very bright and dimmable. Only flaws is that the battery does very quickly & when it is on the stand/base it doesnt tilt, so you have to stack it on top of things to get a good angle. Very annoying!

I was looking for a mirror that plunged in and was not too bulky. I love my mirror the lighting is perfect and you don't spend money on batteries for other mirrors.

Looking for a smaller type mirror for my small vanity. I didn't look to see if it had a tilting type feature before I bought it. It is a fixed handheld mirror.

I am very impressed with this mirror. I was looking at the simple human mirrors, but didn't like the fact that the lower priced versions did not have 1x option. This one is perfect.

Waste of money! I should have bought the more expensive mirror. I used this daily to apply my makeup and now I can't get it to charge. There's something wrong with either the cable or the plug part because sometimes it will charge briefly and then stops.

This would be a great lighted mirror if the battery life lasted longer, but that battery life sucks.... only one hour

This would be a great lighted mirror if the battery life lasted longer. I love that you can pull the mirror out of the base though. But that battery life sucks!!!

The mirror and light function works well. I only wish the battery life lasted longer. Thankfully it is easy to charge.

I really like everything about this mirror I'm impressed! My first bougie mirror. The only question I have how long you supposed to charge the base for? There is no Direction how long you supposed to charge.

This mirror is awesome! The lighting is great and if it gets too light then you can dim it down! The only flaw is the battery life. Not sure if I am charging it correctly (seems hard not to) but the red light is suppose to go away when it is fully charged. It's been charged for 2 days straight now. I'll use it for a about half an hour and then the lights start flashing because the battery life is running out. Other then that everything else is great!

I love this mirror and the lighting is perfect for me, however I wish it would hold a charge longer. Not sure if its just a malfunction, but mine only holds the charge for approx 30 minutes of solid lighting, then it flickers and starts to shut off. I am still debating if I want to return it and try another brand.

Love this mirror! Very pretty and you can remove it from the chargable base and move around with it. The lights around the mirror come in handy when applying eye makeup!

This mirror is so beautiful! The light is super bright and I love that I can take it out of it's stand and use it as a handheld mirror when I need to. My only issue with this is the battery doesn't stay charged long enough to put on a full face, for me at least. It only lasts, fully charged, for about 30 minutes, so I have to keep it plugged in. If it weren't for that, it would be the perfect mirror.

This mirror is pretty but it's hard on my eyes, the lights make me see lots of spots.

Just got this. Love love love that it's a -handheld- lighted mirror! I like doing my makeup with handhelds and FINALLY there's a lighted one. The 5X mini is magnetized so it pops on, the light can be dimmed/brightened, easily pops onto base to convert to a counter mirror, and has a USB charger. So glad I stumbled across this while looking at lighted mirrors. -LOVE- it.
