Most Helpful Positive Review Amazing body! I have tried countless products to find something that will improve my thin, fine hair's body. Few were worth buying a second time. I tried the gel (despite the ridiculous product name!) with few expectations. I was absolutely shocked at the difference it made in my hair. I thought it must be a fluke, but the next time I washed my hair I had the same amazing results. I'm finished looking for new products -- this stuff does the job without leaving my hair sticky or stiff.
Most Helpful Critical Review Loved it...at first I loved this product. It gave me volume like not other. However, after using it my eyes began to swell. I looked at the product ingredients and saw two things listed that I am sensitive to, Methylpropional and Methylchloroisothiazolinone, toward the top of the list. My bad, b/c I should've checked it before using it.
In combination, these go by a trade name (but I was unable to post my review with that info or any other info about these chemicals) among many other names so please do your research. This is not the only brand/product I have found these chemicals in. It is also in some make up and baby wipes.
Not everyone will have problems like I did with this product. If you are not allergic or sensitive to these preservatives, this may work for you. It def. gives crazy volume!

I bought my bottle at the local Ulta. I have thin, fine hair and and have tried many mousses and gels for volume. This did not work on my hair. They were right that it doesn't leave any hair dry and crinkly feeling, but it didn't provide volume either. I ordered one online, then forgot about it and bought one at the store. Now I have two and I wish I could get a refund for at least one of them.

I'm always looking for that big, Texas-style hair. Unfortunately for me, I was born with limp, fine, straight (type 1B) hair that weighs itself down as soon as it gets longer than my shoulders. My curls fall out before I'm finished curling my hair. I was hoping this product could bump up my roots to sky-high levels, but I'm a bit disappointed. The product has some redeeming qualities though. I love the pump dispensing-- after unwrapping my towel-dried hair, two-ish pumps go in, from root to tip. Section out the hair and blow dry using a round brush. This is where the disappointment sets in: there is just not enough hold in this product to really lift my roots. However, my hair does feel super smooth and is more manageable to curl. There is no sticky feeling, no flakes, no "greasy" look that I've had with other products. So while I will still be looking for a better product, it's not so bad as to warrant a return.

A little goes a long way, I apply to my damp hair from root to ends, then blow dry. Really does add VOLUME without any dryness or oiliness. And I have naturally oily hair, must wash it everyday.

It really does what it claims. It makes my hair voluminous without any stiffness and drying. It also eliminates the flyaways after blow drying. It is completely clear and doesn't leave any residue or stickiness. I dye my hair purplish red and am conscious about using products that may make the color fade or get dull. But this product makes my hair color look even more vibrant. I love it and will definitely buy it again.

I recently purchased this at Ulta I also love their root pump mousse but wanted to try this too. You don't need much at all, I use about a dime sized dab. I have a pixie cut right now, fine hair that lays flat after drying. This gives volume and keeps your hair from falling flat. After the first time using I loved the effect but just waited to see if it would last, and it did! One other thing is it did not make my hair crunchy or dry at all. Very impressed with this gel

I've tried using a full pump and also a half of a pump. Just does nothing but make my hair more limp. Really wanted it to work after all the good reviews but it just doesn't. Maybe for some hair types but evidently not for fine hair.

My hair is medium length and very soft and fine. Not thin, but fine. This gel gives my hair some body so when I style it with a curling iron it doesn't immediately go straight. I just curl the ends, and they stay put pretty well. I will put some on front areas even after styling to give that area some weight. I've used this for several years and tried other products. This works for me. Just don't load your hair down with it or you won't be happy. I used about 1-1/2 pumps for my hair. You don't need a ton.
