Most Helpful Positive Review I am disappointed because... Okay so, this product looks and smells amazing. It feels good too! I like the texture of it. It did not break me out or anything like that. And it did remove my makeup very well. My only issue is emulsifying/removing the balm from my face. I feel like it takes awhile to remove it from my face after applying it, even AFTER I try to emulsify. The ingredient Polyethylene bothers me. That is plastic...why is there plastic in a balm. When I try to rinse it off it almost wants to leave this waxy film over my face. I have to rub and rub with water just to get it fully removed. I tried applying less balm (didn't work), I tried it was warm/cold water (didn't matter), same result. This is a really nice balm. The formulation needs work. I do love other I DEW CARE products this one just leaves me a bit flustered.
Most Helpful Critical Review Very heavy and greasy This is extremely heavy, greasy, and irritating to the skin. I have dry skin, too, so for me to say this about a product is surprising. But I can literally feel this clog my pores after using it and my skin will be sickly greasy. Since I've been using it I also have more breakouts. I thought this would be a cheaper alternative to the Kate Somerville Cold Cream makeup remover; it's not even close to that level of quality.

Too all the people that said is easy to remove WHAT RU TALKING ABOUT! This thing left a film/wax layer on my skin and I had to use a cloths to remove it. This does melt ur makeup but horrible to remove.
Horrible 1
Angie from Buffalo
This product did not do well with my skin. My skin instantly felt a burning sensation and I broke out around my chin.
Love this stuff! 5

I don't know what this is but my face and hair love it! It give my hair great texture....I have long blonde hair, but doesn't weight it down or make it greasy and it takes the puffiness away from my eyes. BUY IT!
I would not recommend. First few ingredients are plastic. 1
Miranna from New jersey
I used the product. However, it did not work, the first ingredient was plastic, smelled awful, came in half-melted, overpriced too much, and lastly, it made my skin super dry.
Best I've used 4

Strong smell. I don't completely mind because I've never used a makeup remover that actually got my makeup off. I use a simple cleanser or curology cleanser and don't feel any of the balm still on my face.
I love this stuff!
It's overhyped 1

The smell isn't great and while it does melt away the makeup, you need a good face wash to get off all the greasy residue it leaves on your skins. In other words, I have a harder time removing this product off of my skin, than my waterproof mascara.
It's okay 3

I needed another oil cleanser and this one happened to be part of a deal at the time. I was previously using the Banila Clean It Zero and I was running out.
It has a very artificial berry smell and I should have figured considering the name. It does what it needs to do and comes with a spatula.
I won't be purchasing this again, I'm not a fan of the smell and I might go for a dispenser type next time.
NOPE 1
whateveramber from KS
This product gets a big fat NOPE from me for two reasons: 1) it's made with polyethylene - AKA plastic. That is horrible for the environment especially since you're washing it down the drain. And 2) all of the "good" ingredients are less than 1%. A good rule of thumb is to look for phenoxyethanol. A product can not legally be made with more than 1% phenoxyethanol, so anything below that on the ingredient list makes up less than 1% of the product. So for this balm, you're basically paying to smear overpriced plastic on your face.
A good skin product 5

I normally am skeptical of skin products, I have very sensitive skin, but this product actually makes my skin super soft and I haven't had a break-out in over a week (this is a big deal for me!)
Great! 5

I love it!
It works 3
Lydwelch from Gainesville, GA
The product does what is says it does. It takes off makeup well. It does leave a bit of a residue afterwords but I normally used a water based cleanser after taking off my makeup, so that gets rid of it. It does not tryout skin which is a plus. My only con with this is the smell. It's strong. I don't mind a mild smell in my skincare products, but this is just a bit much for me.

It does the job pretty well, but it has so many different fragrance ingredients in it and has plastic which is pretty pointless and has negative impacts. I've used cheaper options that have a way more minimal ingredient list that work just as well.

Melts Away Makeup 4
Hilary from New York, NY
I'm a fan of the Korean double-cleanse method, and I've tried a lot of cleansing balms. This one isn't the best, but it's pretty good (my one complaint is that there a few hard bits that refuse to melt down, so this is trickier to apply than, say, Banila's cleansing balm). It also has a very perfumed fragrance which might be off-putting for some. But it definitely leaves skin clean and soft.

Smells amazing! Melts the makeup right off my face. Truly an incredible product.
My makeup truly melts away! 5
Debbie from Pittsburgh
I will not go back to any micellar water or oil remover or even any wipes because this product is the full package. My makeup effortlessly melts off (eyes, lips, everything!) when I use this. And it smells amazing! My skin feels fresh and smells fruity and this completely eliminates all makeup. I love this, and as soon i start to near the bottom of the jar I get a new one.
I love love love this product! 5
Melissa from Fountain Run, KY
I use this product first but then I follow up with an additional cleanser and my foreo.

I wanted to try a different route for removing my make up. I usually use wipes AND micellar water for my mascara. I am very happy I bought this. I would not use a generous amount, just a small dip with the spatula. I have greasy skin and I cringe at the thought of adding more oil/grease to me face but this left my skin feeling great AND took ALL my make up off. I followed up with my mild facial cleanser and it took all the product off with it. Would buy again!
Love it, smells great 5
Lizzy from Pittsburgh
My makeup comes off so easily and it smells so yummy! Hasn't caused any problems or irritation for my skin. I use my regular cleanser after using this normally.
Melts makeup, but... 3
Abbey from Florida
This product does what it says; it melts away makeup. However, I still end up with mascara smudged under my eyes occasionally and I need a second cleanser to remove this product! I really dislike the residue it leaves behind.
shockingly great 5

i have a real issue with makeup removers, i've have crazy sensitive skin and my pores clog like crazy. i got this as a kind of last resort thinking 'eh i guess it's worth a shot' and it really is. smells lovely takes off all my makeup, including my mascara and matte liquid lipstick and just make my skin feel wretched. my ONLY recommendation is you don't need to use as much as it says, the component says apply a generous amount, but i barely use any and it goes a long way
I would eat it if I could 5

Smells so good, feel luxurious on skin.
Best Balm Remover 5
Sarah from Temecula, CA
I bought this on a whim and it quickly became a staple in my routine. I haven went through 3 containers. A little goes a long way, and I let it sit on my mascara to break it down as I remove the rest. I then use a face wash to get all the oil off. You can really get your eye makeup off without stinging your eyes.
Melts my makeup away 5
Elp23 from Raleigh nc
I like this! A little goes a long way and it's less harsh on my skin than liquid makeup removers. I use this and some water as the first step in taking off my makeup. Once the makeup has broken down I go in with a makeup wipe to take it off. Then I finish with a cleanser. I was worried the fragrance would be too strong but it isn't.
Not for me 2
Karebear from Dasher, Ga
I've been trying to find a great makeup remover. This was not it. It's heavy, oily, and is hard to take off! Melts the makeup at the cost of barely being able to remove the product yourself. Thank you, next.. 😒
