Cleansers are too harsh for my sensitive aging skin, as are tissues and irritating cleansing wipes. It is difficult for me to find a product that doesn't strip my skin or cause flaking and dryness. After a bit of research, I decided to try these cloths. They are truly a gamechanger for my daily routine.
This product is easy to use, extremely soft, and the perfect gray color to camouflage the staining from makeup removal. Simply wet the cloth with warm water, and gently buff away your makeup. Amazing results in just a few swipes, with no irritation. In my case, I do not use waterproof mascara; so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of removal in that instance. But my non-waterproof mascara came right off without pulling out delicate lashes. The cloths allow for just the right amount of cleansing and exfoliation without aggravating your skin. After use, I rinse the cloth well and let it air dry. You can reuse the cloth several times before dropping it into the washer. Also- it is best to wash the cloths in the washer before the first use, and to not use fabric softener. Trust me- this material is very soft and gentle on skin- not at all like other microfiber products.
Since using these cloths for makeup removal, I am finding my skin to be much less dry; with no flaky under eye patches. I find my makeup application to be smoother, and my need for moisturizer lessened. Excellent option for us gals with rosacea or sensitive skin. Ditch the irritating cleansing wipes and facial tissue- your skin will thank you.
When I first saw these makeup remover towels and the glowing reviews I thought they sounded pretty awesome. I almost bought a couple of sets for gifts but first decided to buy just one for myself to try out first. Well... I followed the directions and washed them before first use and then gave it a try. For starters I wear very little makeup to begin with and seldom wear mascara. I used my cloth on a day with no mascara and the little makeup I had on. I soaked the cloth in warm water and washed my face multiple times while rinsing and squeezing out in between. I first thought it appeared to work. But to test my results I then washed my face with my Olay Cleansing cloth. Wow... I may as well have used a wash cloth soaked in warm water. All my makeup showed up on my Olay makeup cleanser cloth. I can't even imagine someone trying to remove a lot of makeup plus mascara with these things. As my review headline states.. these cloths are a joke.. an expensive one. I'm glad I didn't buy more. They are soft. I'll give it that much but that's all. Looks like I'll be using these as regular bath washcloths.
Don't waste your money on these... they do not work

I love these wish I would of got them sooner.

I have bought this several times. They do a great job of removing makeup without needing cleanser. They're gentle on the skin. Ever so often put soap on them & scrub the ends together. You'll see all the makeup come out that was previously removed. Put them in the washing machine to get them thoroughly clean & they come out looking new.

I love it!

I got a small one in a sample and was amazed that the reviews were true. I quickly ordered this product and am very happy that I do not have to use facial cleanser unless I want to. In fact, at times these clean my face better than certain facial cleansers.

Love it, I got tired of buying makeup wipes and decided to give these a try. They are a life saver, makeup wipes usually dry up a little. These are so convenient.

So shocked at how well this cloth works. Get wet with warm water and it just takes all of your makeup off; including eye liner and mascara!

If you don't know what hot cloth cleansing is, it is basically taking a cleansing balm on dry skin, running hot water through a flannel cloth (or like this makeup removing towel), then putting it to your face for a few seconds before wiping the cleanser off (more info on Caroline Hirons website). I love using this cloth with the Elemis Rose cleansing balm and I feel like I'm in a spa each night I take off my makeup! These towels are very sturdy and maintain their softness after many washes. One side is not as fluffy as the other side, so I use this side to cleanse off the balm then use the other fluffier side to remove any excess. I like how they give me some gentle exfoliation as I do the hot cloth cleanse and I don't even need to follow up with a foam cleanser. I am left with super hydrated, supple skin and I feel like it helps absorb my serums and actives better for my night routine.

I wear a full face of makeup with many layers of foundation and concealer and cream contour and powders and... you get the point. I was amazed at how all of it came right off of my face with just water and this little towel!! AND it was super gentle on my skin, especially around my eyes. It removed waterproof eyeliner and regular mascara completely. I am so excited to have found these! I ordered more and I wont be spending money on wasteful, rough, disposable wipes!

Love these wipes!! They really do work, I was skeptical but they are awesome

Initially, these cloths were great at removing makeup and I had bought more to reduce waste with makeup wipes. However, the more I washed these, the more abrasive they became. One side of the cloth feels like it's scratching my skin and the other side is still gentle enough to use for now. Now that I've had these for over a year I wouldn't recommend them anymore since they have lost their performance. I'm hoping to find another cloth that lasts longer.

Loveeee this product!

I love, love, love this makeup remover cloth. I always wear eye makeup and using cotton rounds or cleansing cloths are great, but not great for the environment and can irritate my eyes. This cloth is wonderful and actually works with even just water. And the fact there are two, I can have one at home and one for travel.

I got these towels a year ago and they are totally worth it! It definitely saves a lot of money as I haven't bought wipes since it's also very good to know you have something to take off your makeup with if you forget to buy wipes. You can also use it to clean your hands that have makeup on it.

Oh my gosh, I didnt believe until I used them. these things are amazing! it truly takes off my make up with minimal scrubbing. no more using products and chemicals on my face. and it gets it all off the first time so I dont have to look like a raccoon when going to bed and waking up lol

These have saved me SO much in comparison to makeup removing wipes. I can use these plain or with my normal face wash if I'm wearing a full face, and they remove every last bit. They can even remove the toughest of lipsticks with just a little extra scrubbing. Just one go in the wash and they're good as new!

So easy to travel with, easy to clean, and does a great job removing make up. Highly recommend

These cloths are awesome! So easy to remove my makeup after a long day without using those harsh makeup removing cloths. No more stinging eyes with the typical makeup removing cloth! I love these!
Lexi from Houston
Love using these in the shower versus regular hand towels for my face. So much more gentle on the skin and removes makeup well.
KT from San Carlos
These cloths are such a delightful surprise. They take every ounce of makeup off my eyes, and since they're so soft, it doesn't pull or sting my skin.
No more disposable makeup wipes for me, which is great for saving money and better for the environment.

These towels are so awesome. I can't use makeup remover wipes because of allergies, but honestly after trying these I don't miss them at all. These towels are soft, easy to wash, and so effective. They can even remove most glitter eyeshadow! And what a great value! Why even buy the original brand?!

I have spells where I go from going to work with absolutely no makeup to going with a full face. Now, I'm in my full face mood, and I wanted something that would make daily removal easy without having to use multiple wipes. I looked at the Makeup Eraser, and saw this this was available and worked in a similar fashion. So far, I am very pleased with this product! I do use a cream cleanser, then use this to wipe off the cream and the makeup. Today, I dried my face with a plain white paper towel after using the remover towel, and there was no trace of makeup on the paper towel. Thank you Ulta for saving me a few bucks!!

I really enjoyed this set, so much so that I intend to buy more. they make the makeup removal process so easy- especially for mascara! there is a learning curve with these that I had to adjust to before I really started to like them. you must be very gently. less pressure is better. I do a quick clean after I use them with a facial wash or bar soap and after a few uses I'll throw them into the washer and dryer with my regular load of clothes.
Hannah from Pennsylvania
Removed all my makeup - if these continue to perform after I've run them through the wash, I'm going to buy more!
Kayli from Bel Air
I fell in LOVE with these. It is super easy to take off all my makeup each day with these. I'm talking face, lips, and eyes. Waterproof eye makeup is still best with a remover but nevertheless. I grew to dislike using cotton rounds and makeup remover everyday and then running out quickly and once I got these I'll never look back. The best part is that I can just throw them in the wash after a week and then they're good as new and I'm cutting down on waste products :)
If you love Mother Earth, you'll buy these towels ;)

Bought a bunch of these to remove makeup and it was a waste of money. After a couple of washes (and I mean 2) the one side got very matted and doesnt remove makeup very well. Now I know why they are so cheap! Splurge on the real deal. Makeup Eraser.
