I have been using this stuff for YEARS! I love it. I have always used the second to lightest shade (I believe it's fair) I ordered the porcelain online because well.. winter is coming and I am VERY white!! I just received it in the mail and let me tell you, it's basically pink!! Us white girls tend to have a pink undertone and it's so pink I can't even tell you! Love this product more than anything! Just warning you - very very pink!

Comments about Laura Geller BB Cream All-In-One Skin Perfecting Beauty Balm SPF 21:

Fantastic! Even coverage, very smooth, light texture. I get tons of compliments on my skin when I am wearing it. I now skip the moisturizer. I have no idea why reviewers are saying this is orange. I use the light in the winter and the medium in the summer when I am tanned. I am a white woman, though I am not overly fair complected.

I Love how my skin looks using this BBC: natural and glowing. I get tons of compliments when I am wearing it. It is easy to evenly apply on face and neck. Now that I use this, I skip the moisturizer, and I feel great that I am getting some protection.

Based on the information given to me, it sounds like the fair should be perfect for you. It has some yellow/gold in it but overall much more neutral. The light is a bit deeper and has much more yellow. Enjoy!

            • Q:

I'm trying to choose between porcelain and fair. I am very fair with pink undertones, blue veins. No one ever seems to have porcelain in brick & mortar for me to see in person. I read your answers to others re pink undertones/light complexion. However, I've seen reviews online a shopping site where they are saying the Fair is very yellow. Please verify. If so, I'm leaning toward porcelain but concerned it wouldn't be enough coverage.

                A:

Based on the information given to me, I do recommend Porcelain for you. Fair does have a bit more yellow. If this does not give you enough coverage, you can try adding one of our baked powders on top for more coverage, or you can try our brand new full coverage cream foundation in porcelain called Cover Lock. Hope this helps!

              Will this cover brown spots?

                A:

This has light/sheer coverage, so it won't completely cover dark spots but it will blur the appearance of them and other skin imperfections. I like to use that and set it with a powder like our Balance-n-Brighten for added coverage. Enjoy!

Hi, I have olive skin but am pretty light in complexion. Do you think fair or light would work better for me?

I would go with the light since you're olive. I think the fair may wash you out... the light sounds like it will be perfect for you. Enjoy!

If I have fair to light skin with red/pink undertones, which would be better the fair or light? What's the difference between the 2?

Fair is a tad lighter on the spectrum than light, it also has cooler tones and light has warmer tones. Based on what you told me, I think fair should work best for you.

My biggest problem with 99% of all foundations is they also seem to have a beige tint. My skin tint in more in the pink family. Would any of these colors work for me?

                A:

Yes! The fair and the medium have a cooler/pink tone as opposed to the light which has more of a beige/yellow tone. If you are in the light family, choose the fair. If you are in the Medium family, choose medium. Enjoy!

Fair sounds like it would be the best option for you.
Fair- Cooler undertones, the lightest shade on the spectrum
Light- Much warmer undertones, for someone who is a tad more golden than fair, but still light
Medium- Cool to neutral undertones. A good shade for someone who is right in the middle of the color spectrum.

                A:

This product is loaded with skincare benefits (antioxidants, botanicals, and is oil-free) so it is extremely suitable for sensitive skin. The coverage is sheer-light, so if you need more coverage I would recommend pairing with a concealer and just using the concealer on the areas of the face that need more. Other than that, this is an amazing product the will brighten the complexion and will look incredibly natural. Enjoy!
