    Love!

    By Kelsey

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I just recently got a duo that contained a full size foundation and bronzer. I've only been using it for a couple of days and I LOVE both the foundation and bronzer. I've only used the foundation over the too faced born this way foundation as opposed to on its own, but I can already tell it's a game changer. I don't always wear a liquid and a heavier coverage powder, but if I want more coverage that's a normal routine for me. On lighter makeup days I know it will look great on its own maybe with some spot concealing if need be. I just love the way it transforms my skin!

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

This is a very natural, very pigmented powder. I have dry skin, but this doesn't cling to dry patches like most powders. I can't recommend this product enough IF IT COMES IN YOUR SHADE. I'm 'Fair' in almost every shade, but the 'fair' in this line is very dark while the next shade up, 'porcelain' is way too light. And if you're on the dark end of medium or deeper, keep walking there is NOTHING here for you. If Laura Geller ever expands this shade range it will be the #1 powder foundation.

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I originally bought this on a beauty steal. I bought the medium and never tried it out til I put it on. LET ME TELL YOU...omg. This is the best powder foundation I've ever touched! It matches my skin magically in the winter and the summer! I put over Becca backlight primer with a foundation brush and LIGHTLY swirl to minimize waste of dust. I swirl three times each facial area and I achieve consistent medium coverage. I have oily skin mostly so this is the best for me! Find a primer, that's the key to keep this in place. It won't budge after 12 hrs u just don't know lol. The Becca one I recommend cuz it dries fast but it's not drying to skin! I Spray urban decay all Nighter setter on top to set. If ur not sure of shade try on store, and buy it! It's life changing!

    Color not consistent

    By Jenna

    from Nj

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I use the porcelain shade as my go to powder foundation and NORMALLY it's perfect. Perfect finish, coverage, color, everything. Up until recently..

The last 3 times I purchased this the compact was ~40% pink, as opposed to the beige tones with some swirls of pink. It looks like I put baby pink blush all over my face. For that reason I would *not* recommend buying it online. I'll only buy this in stores from now on so I can check the product to make sure I'm not getting a pink heavy compact.

If you get a compact with a correct mix of tones this powder is perfect but I had to lower my rating because it is incredibly inconsistent.

    Good Powder, Not my Favorite

    By KWALK87

    from St. Louis, MO

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I wanted to love this so much, but I felt even the light color came out a tad orangey even though it's supposed to be color correcting. It felt nice on my skin and by the end of the day I didn't have any dry patches like I sometimes do with powder. I may be applying it wrong so I may try a different brush next time.

Comments about Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten Baked Color Correcting Foundation:

I've bought this multiple times. I use this alone as foundation and its great. Light to medium coverage w/o settling into lines. I have oily skin and it helps with shine. I switch between Golden Medium and Tan.

I got this powder for when I want to get a more looking "professional" make up, cover a lot of imperfections and give you a matte finish.
It is very light weight and smooth in comparation to other powders that are use to cover imperfections.

        • Q:

I wear Clinique Golden and purchased this foundation in deep. I wore it today and I was told it was muddy and streaky. Now, I wonder if I got the correct shade? I have warm tones in my skin. Any suggestions as to what I should pick? I like the idea of a baked foundation.

Hello, please see the link below to help find the shade that's right for you. If you're on the deeper end of the spectrum, Deep or Toffee should work for you. I am not sure why it's looking streaky... make sure you use a fluffy brush that is large enough to buff the product evenly and smoothy into the skin. Good luck! https://www.ulta.com/shade-finders/laura-geller-foundation-finder/

          • Brand Expert

            A:

I recommend using a big fluffy kabuki or powder brush. The more dense the brush, the more coverage you're going to obtain. If you choose to use this product as your only foundation, use a dense brush so you'll get some good coverage. If you choose to use it over a liquid, you'll probably need a brush that isn't as dense, that way you'll get a light dusting of coverage. Enjoy!

I switched from BareMinerals to IT cosmetics and really like their Celebrity Foundation. I want to try the Balance & Brighten; however it has talc in it (IT foundation does not) and I'm wondering it this will settle in lines. I do use a primer.

          • Brand Expert

            A:

This product is baked which means it starts it's life as a cream and is baked into a powder. Because of this, it will NOT settle into lines, because you're basically using the best of both worlds between a cream and a powder! I highly recommend giving this a try you can use it alone on top of your primer, or you can use it as a finishing powder over liquid foundation. Enjoy!
