Used this wash once and instantly gave me a rash. The rash has disappeared then came back in the same day. It's hours later and hasn't disappeared but instead, it spreads. It spreads pretty quickly and itches. I recommend you don't buy this product.

Worst product ever. Left me with a rash of pimples/ under the skin bumps in my forehead that I'm still trying to get rid of even several weeks after stopping use. Do not buy! Be forewarned!!

Caused the Worst Breakout of My Life

Comments about Bioré Baking Soda Acne Cleansing Foam:

I've always had moderate acne and nothing ever clears it up, so I wouldn't say I went into using this product thinking it was going to change my life. BUT, with that said, no product has ever made my acne WORSE, but this product here? WOAH.

After about a week of washing with this cleanser once a day at night, my skin is RAW and I have horrible, painful pimples all over my shin and lower cheeks. I have NEVER had a breakout all over my face that is this severe caused by a facial cleanser.

Since doing some research on the product, apparently baking soda messes with the pH balance of your face and you really have no business washing your face with baking soda in the first place. Suffice to say, this cleanser is going in the trash.

Baking Soda is Terrible for Your Skin

Comments about Bioré Baking Soda Acne Cleansing Foam:

Baking Soda has a much too basic pH for your skin.
I can't link the website here, but a search immediately came up with "Healthy skin is slightly acidic. This acid mantle helps form a protective barrier, and it's important for overall skin health. Washing with baking soda can remove the skin's protective oil barrier, alter its pH, and disrupt the natural bacteria on the surface that help to prevent infection and acne. This can leave you with stripped skin that's prone to infection and breakouts." This is in addition to general irritation and over-exfoliation.

This stuff did a good job cleaning but unfortunately, it was burning my skin and even giving me a rash.. Just be careful if you have sensitive skin!
