A little glow just makes me feel alive and this product is exactly what I was looking for! It adds a hint of shimmer that I put all over after my powder to add a fresh look without that is never too much. (I have fair, combination skin so am always trying to add life to my face without exaggerating my mid-day oil.) Note: per previous reviews, I made sure to get that thin outer layer off so that I could get to the actual product and it works like a dream!

I'm very disappointed in ELF Baked Highlighter Color : Pink Diamonds. This was my first time ordering makeup off the ELF website, but they were having a 50% off sale. The product had some good reviews so I decided to order it, BIG MISTAKE!! I have medium beautiful brown skin and it doesn't even show up. It seems like I have to dig into it just to get the product onto the brush. I know there are great drugstore highlighters on the market & you don't have to buy highend to get a beautiful glow🌟🌟🌟. Save your coins, this isn't for brown girls!!

I really love this highlighter! For a baked product, the pigmentation is really good. I bought the shade Moonlight Pearls and it is perfect for my skin tone. For reference, I usually buy the second or third lightest shade in most foundations.

Everyone criticizes a weird, drying layer that covers the top, but that hasn't really been much of an issue, I just think this highlighter isn't anything special. It doesn't really have a base color, so i guess it works for any skin tone, but the formula is just very patchy and not at all smooth, and also separates when applied.
Literally the best affordable highlighter

This stuff is SO pigmented & creamy! Yes it has that baked top crust on it you have to scrape off, and yes the packaging sucks, but the effect it gives it WORTH it! You can't spend $4 on a better highlighter, truly. This goes on just a wee bit smoother than the Wet n Wild Megaglo, and smoother than the Milani Afterglow as well. If you're wondering, just buy it.

Definitely my favorite drug store highlighter. it has a nice shine to it , the only problem is you have to get through the first layer before anything really comes off. Other than that it's a great product.

This product was once "baked" and one had to scrape off top layer with a butter knife to use it. Now it is so easy to use, cost effective, and can be used all over the body. Beautiful glow.

This highlighter is so cute and pretty! It definitely will have you glowing. It's a beautiful highlight for such a cheap price
Isabella from Oregon
Its such a pretty highlight and works amazing! I would definitely wet your brush before using though since it is a baked highlighter after all. Mine fell and broke though so i dont have to scrape or wet my brush lol! But its amazing

I'm legit on my second one (lol I dropped the first one and she didn't make it). Though the first later is a bit hard to get past, the actual product itself is so pretty. It does emphasize texture if you put it in the wrong place so just be weary. But all in all pretty gosh darn good for the price; it looks like a pretty natural yet elevated glow! I honestly just wish the packaging was a tad bit more sturdy because it already broke and I have to tape it up if I want to bring it anywhere.
Love this highlighter!!

I'm very new at highlighting. I have dry and sensitive skin, and this product doesn't irritate my skin. Since it is a baked product, I apply it with my finger and use a brush to blend. You only need to use a small amount to have a nice glimmer.

.. Okay so it's a very cute highlight but it's a little hard .. BUT , I find it works better when being applied with the finger then going in with the fan brush , it's very pigmented once applied to my skin !
broke_beauty_ from MetroDetroit
If I babe to spoolie our product every time I want to highlight my face your product is over baked and bad.
Very Natural Looking
Gigi from Corvallis
Really good highlighter if your looking for something subtle and natural. If you're looking for drippy-wet looking glitter highlighter, this is not it. Not bad. I use with a wet brush, makes it easier to blend with.
Ivonne from Texas
This is good! Just recommended scratching the first layer off for some pigment!
Lisa from Long Beach
You have to get through the first layer
You get what you paid for

This is a good highlighter but it's not great and by great I mean you only need to swipe it on once great. This is not great but it's good :) The pigment and shine are there but you have to build it up. A great tiny size to keep at your desk at work or in your purse for touch ups. I just keep mine in my desk at work for those days I'm running late! Isn't a part of my daily routine but good enough to keep on hand!
Will not buy this
Grace from Connecticut
Does not have any pigment
Great subtle pink highlight glow shimmer
Must have highlight from Virginia
Flawless shimmer highlight on cheekbones w/o catching any subtle lines, blends so nicely with a neutral pink blush/rouge and light/medium cover foundation
Mamacita from Portland, Oregon
I really liked the color and it was a great buy for the price. I actually use this as my first layer of eyeshadow before I add a darker shade of gold on top, it blends beautifully and actually helps keep my eyeshadow in place all day. Good cheap alternative for primer!

I love elf products but this highlighter I was not a fan of.

Was looking for something super affordable and good and this does the trick! I love how it looks on my skin, super subtle and beautiful! Gives the nice shimmer I was looking for!
Good for Beginners
vberk from Tennessee
I love this highlighter! I just started venturing into wearing it about 6 months ago, and I think it's a great starter product. I wish it were more pigmented, but otherwise it's great
really good! especially for the price
Aliyah from california
This highlighter is really good for 4$! I've found that if you scrape of the first top layer it applies a lot more pigmented. It doesn't apply and smooth as some expensive highlighters but the pigment is definitely there. It doesn't usually last all day but i would definitely recommend.
Liv from Wisconsin
Was VERY hard to get any pigment or basically any product without ruining the brush.
Eleanor from New Jersey
Gives more of a sparkly look than a shiny look, so this is for you if that's what you're looking for. You can use just a little for a subtle look but is very buildable and you can go for a more dramatic look. Tip: Don't buy the Apricot shade if you're fair skinned and/or cool toned.
Elle from NY
Honestly for the price this highlighter has been something I go back to. Depending on what you apply it with and how you do it you can get either a subtle or blinding glow. After going through some of the top layers of this highlighter and getting your brush wet the highlighter is definitely a win
