A little glow just makes me feel alive and this product is exactly what I was looking for! It adds a hint of shimmer that I put all over after my powder to add a fresh look without that is never too much. (I have fair, combination skin so am always trying to add life to my face without exaggerating my mid-day oil.) Note: per previous reviews, I made sure to get that thin outer layer off so that I could get to the actual product and it works like a dream!

I'm very disappointed in ELF Baked Highlighter Color : Pink Diamonds. This was my first time ordering makeup off the ELF website, but they were having a 50% off sale. The product had some good reviews so I decided to order it, BIG MISTAKE!! I have medium beautiful brown skin and it doesn't even show up. It seems like I have to dig into it just to get the product onto the brush. I know there are great drugstore highlighters on the market & you don't have to buy highend to get a beautiful glow🌟🌟🌟. Save your coins, this isn't for brown girls!!

I love this highlighter! I'm a very fair-skinned redhead and this is one of the only highlighters that works for me that doesn't have a super weird undertone. I know it's hard to get product off of but it works so beautifully after you get the top coating off. It's definitely a very natural looking highlight, but it is so beautiful and doesn't emphasize texture. I'm only knocking off a star because of the hard consistency.

Love how easy this is to apply and how much pigment you get within just a few strokes!
Not pigmented at all
Evie from Brooklyn NY
I purchased this based on reviews, and I'm not satisfied, I have to rub with my finger and warm it up quite a bit to get something out of it, I'm going to try to dampen my fingers and see if it works for me, but this was not successful for me.
I have only been using it less than a week but it good
Susan from Santa Fe
I have only been using it less than a week and it is working good so far
Pigment is kind of weak, but I like it
Zoe from North Texas
I bought and used this with e.l.f.'s highlighting brush. It's not pigmented enough to use with a powder brush like that, but with smaller tool like a q-tip or my pinkie it goes on nicely.
Not the best, but it works

It's a little chalky, but the shimmer does come through. It's worth $4 for sure. I use it everyday, but I don't love it. Don't get your expectations too high, and you'll find it pleasant. The color is excellent for pale skin.
no wonder why it's cheap

worst highlight ever. not pigmented at all. lowkey chalky. way better ones then this one. pls don't waste your money
No need for an expensive highlighter, because this is it!

I have bought highlighters from Becca, Urban Decay and Kevin Aucoin, and this is identical in quality for only a portion of the price! I use this for an every day look to contour my nose and cheekbones, and for reference, I have olive skin and darker features.
As a tip, serval makeup bloggers recommended that for any of the ELF Baked Highlighters to gently scrape off the top layer from the surface to reach maximum pigmentation when applying since the product is dry and dull when you first use it face value, and from personal experience, it definitely made a difference for me! Definitely give this highlighter a try for the price! You won't be disappointed!!
sensitive skin beware

this highlighter looks beautiful & gave me that blinding, super glowy look. unfortunately the day after i used this i noticed little bumps on the high points of my cheekbones only where i applied this product. if you have acne prone skin be careful
Sarah from Texas
This highlighter is so pigmented I actually overdid it the first time I used it. It gives a gorgeous glow. But seriously, a little bit goes a long way. And it stayed on really well!
Dayrin from New Jersey
I don't like how it looks on my skin tone but I love the formula and how it looks overall I would just choose a different shade.
makeup enthusiast from CA
This highlighter is great if you like something that's super shimmery, although it can be sheered down to a more subtle glow if you apply it lightly.
Baillie from Illinois
I really love this highlighter! For a baked product, the pigmentation is really good. I bought the shade Moonlight Pearls and it is perfect for my skin tone. For reference, I usually buy the second or third lightest shade in most foundations.
Nono from Chicago
Everyone criticizes a weird, drying layer that covers the top, but that hasn't really been much of an issue, I just think this highlighter isn't anything special. It doesn't really have a base color, so i guess it works for any skin tone, but the formula is just very patchy and not at all smooth, and also separates when applied.
Literally the best affordable highlighter

This stuff is SO pigmented & creamy! Yes it has that baked top crust on it you have to scrape off, and yes the packaging sucks, but the effect it gives it WORTH it! You can't spend $4 on a better highlighter, truly. This goes on just a wee bit smoother than the Wet n Wild Megaglo, and smoother than the Milani Afterglow as well. If you're wondering, just buy it.
Kat from kansas city
Definitely my favorite drug store highlighter. it has a nice shine to it , the only problem is you have to get through the first layer before anything really comes off. Other than that it's a great product.
E.l.f. Wins again!

This product was once "baked" and one had to scrape off top layer with a butter knife to use it. Now it is so easy to use, cost effective, and can be used all over the body. Beautiful glow.
Vanessa from USA
This highlighter is so cute and pretty! It definitely will have you glowing. It's a beautiful highlight for such a cheap price
Isabella from Oregon
Its such a pretty highlight and works amazing! I would definitely wet your brush before using though since it is a baked highlighter after all. Mine fell and broke though so i dont have to scrape or wet my brush lol! But its amazing
katie from la Jolla
I'm legit on my second one (lol I dropped the first one and she didn't make it). Though the first later is a bit hard to get past, the actual product itself is so pretty. It does emphasize texture if you put it in the wrong place so just be weary. But all in all pretty gosh darn good for the price; it looks like a pretty natural yet elevated glow! I honestly just wish the packaging was a tad bit more sturdy because it already broke and I have to tape it up if I want to bring it anywhere.
Love this highlighter!!
SpookyandKooky from Abingdon, VA
I'm very new at highlighting. I have dry and sensitive skin, and this product doesn't irritate my skin. Since it is a baked product, I apply it with my finger and use a brush to blend. You only need to use a small amount to have a nice glimmer.
Elly from Alabama
.. Okay so it's a very cute highlight but it's a little hard .. BUT , I find it works better when being applied with the finger then going in with the fan brush , it's very pigmented once applied to my skin !
broke_beauty_ from MetroDetroit
If I babe to spoolie our product every time I want to highlight my face your product is over baked and bad.
Very Natural Looking
Gigi from Corvallis
Really good highlighter if your looking for something subtle and natural. If you're looking for drippy-wet looking glitter highlighter, this is not it. Not bad. I use with a wet brush, makes it easier to blend with.
Ivonne from Texas
This is good! Just recommended scratching the first layer off for some pigment!
