Comments about Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten:

Unfortunately I ordered the wrong color. I meant to order Roseberry and ordered Pink Buttercream by mistake. I'm very fair and the color is too blah on me. I also ordered tropical hues which I kind of like. I'm not sure how I feel about these blushes. They are very smooth which I like but there is more shimmer than I expected. I have mature skin and shimmer is not my friend. The shades are beautiful but very intense. They require a very light hand or can easily look clown like. Once I tried it under a light layer of foundation and that toned it down. Very pretty but application is a lot of work. Not sure if I'll keep them. I'm sure they are great if you enjoy shimmer or have younger skin. I usually use a cream blush because it looks more natural on my dry skin.

Roseberry is warmer than it looks online

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten:

I bought the color Roseberry because it looked like a fairly neutral pink online. In person, the color is pretty, but it is a fairly dark, warm tone instead. I'm a little disappointed, but I'm keeping it because I love Laura Geller products, and the color is okay on my warm makeup look days. The blush itself is a bit dusty and applies heavy, so you must use a very light touch. It is also shimmery, so if you like matte blushes, you probably won't like it. If you want a bright, warm, shimmery blush, this is what you're looking for.

Not for me

By Blush obsessed

from MI

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten:

Let me start by saying the colors are very nice and pigmented. I got the shade peach delight. For whatever reason, it over applied every time, even when I tried different brushes and used a very light hand. It also kicks up a ton of powder. I ended up returning it because it was just too much work for me!

Comments about Laura Geller Baked Blush-n-Brighten:

I keep Roseberry in stock at all times! It's my favorite blush and I use it in my normal makeup routine. I also have Tropic hues but it's a little too dark for me, I have very fair skin.

Which color would be closest to the discontinued "Berry" shade?

                A:

We do not currently have a shade that is close to Berry. If you wanted something that is not in the pink family, try Honeysuckle which has a slight bronzy tint or Sunswept which has a deeper bronzy tone. Enjoy!

Does this work good at all? Does it also feel light on your skin? What color is it in person not on a picture? Would it work on a fair and pail skin tone too?

                A:

All of our blushes are designed to work well with any skin tone- fair or deep. So whatever shade you choose should be very flattering! Also, because the blushes start off as creams and are baked into a powder form, they are incredibly lightweight on the skin. They never feel cakey or powdery and are so easily blendable!

            • Q:

I have light to medium warm toned skin, blue eyes and blonde hair. I tend to lean toward coral/peach toned blushes but lately I've found I like the flush of mauve/brown/bronze. In truth I can usually wear most warm or cool toned makeup other than foundation which must be warm. Which blush would be the best non-coral/peach but more mauve bronzey

I am currently a medium complexion developing a tan with yellow/golden undertones. I don't like shimmer on my face. What 2 blushes do you recommend? I have dark brown hair and light brown eyes.

              • Brand Expert

                A:

All of our blushes have a slight sheen to them- this does not mean it'll look shimmery or glittery on the face, it simply means that you'll receive a healthy, luminous glow. With that said, I recommend the shade Sunswept which will deliver swirls of gold, pink, and bronze, or Pink Grapefruit which is pink- but not too pink. These are two of our most popular shades and look great on skin-tones like yours!

It is retired! I am very sorry but we currently do not have a shade that matches Berry. Sunswept is a great option if you're looking for something that is not in the pin family.

I would recommend Tropic Hues or Pink Grapefruit. Tropic Hues is much more pinky, and it's a little lighter in pigmentation. Both are great selling shades.

I absolutely recommend Pink Grapefruit or Pink Buttercream. Both shades are in the pink family. Pink Grapefruit has swirls of bronze and Pink Buttercream has slight swirls of peach/orange. I think either choice will be extremely flattering on your skin tone. Enjoy!

Sunswept has the darkest brown undertone, and Honeysuckle has a liter brown undertone. Also, check out bronze-n-brighten. That is very deep in the brown category and can be used as a bronze, or a blush. The link is below! https://www.ulta.com/bronze-n-brighten?productId=xlsImpprod2240025
