More than just a primer, it's the secret behind the iconic BECCA glow. Infused with three unique Filtering Luminescent Pearls, each one adds a different drop of diffused light. Blended together, they result in a first of its kind, lightweight, whipped fluid that creates a smooth canvas and acts as an instant filter. Blurs imperfections and gives skin a healthy, luminescent glow.

Apply a thin layer to moisturized skin from the center of the face outward. Wait a few seconds and apply makeup as usual or wear alone.

It's a perfect primer to give you little skin glow since it has light shimmer to it. The citrus fresh sent makes me want to use it everyday. Works well with different foundations types as well with beauty blender and brushes.

Comments about BECCA Backlight Priming Filter:

I bought this during the Ulta beauty steals event. I usually use the Laura Geller spackle primer, but I really liked how this one was illuminizing so I decided to give it a try. The claims are true, but unfortunately this is the only product I have ever used that makes me break out. Let me start by saying I'm very fortunate to never really break out- only the occasional pimple that takes two or three days to get rid of. The only time I wear makeup is the one night a week I go out, and I would come back and take my makeup off and notice a pimple or two after only a few hours of wearing this primer. These pimples would take over a week to get rid of- I currently have pimples from 2 weeks ago I'm still trying to get rid of conquer since NOTHING will work on them. I couldn't figure it out for a while what was causing me to get these terrible pimples (blamed it on food at first), but realizing it happened every time I wore this primer and I haven't changed any other products in my makeup routine, it was definitely it. I'm extremely disappointed. The pimples are SO BAD I cannot use it anymore.

I have normal to dry skin and struggle finding a great primer that doesn't mattify the skin. A friend recommended I try this one out, and I was instantly in love! It is gorgeous alone, and the smell is really pleasant -- but not overwhelming.

Comments about BECCA Backlight Priming Filter:

I received a sample of this primer in a mystery sample bag a few weeks ago. This stuff is the bombbb!
I have never been a huge fan of primers and I have never bought a full-size primer after trying a sample. My normal M-F makeup routine is full-face, full coverage makeup to go to work in. Primer would sometimes make it into that routine, but not on the regular. I have a very oily T-Zone and this does help control the "wet" look that can happen on my forehead, sides of nose and chin.
This primer is so nice.. it's really lightweight and has a beautiful, subtle glow. It does dry very quickly, so make sure you're focused when putting it on. I put this primer on when I am fresh out of the shower so that my hands and face are clean. I apply with my fingertips, no need to get a brush involved for this stuff.
It looks great under foundation and by itself! I wore just this primer to the beach the other day with a little sunscreen CC cream and it looked great for a casual day with friends.

I have very fair skin, very acne prone (especially when trying new products) and this hasn't given me any breakouts thus far. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now. When my sample runs out, I'll for sure be buying a full size!
