Most Helpful Positive Review Excellent Maintenance Cream w/ Hyaluronic Acid If you do not have skin prone to any sort of extreme need (oil or dry, etc.), Aqualia Thermal Gel Face Cream is a perfect sort of add-in or stand-alone to routine maintenance. I used this product for two full-weeks before I sat down to right this review. I used the product, as directed, twice daily: in the morning and in the evening. I stopped using other products from well known brands (incl. La Roche-Posay), so that I could give this product a discerning and unbiased review. I was well aware of the Vichy dermal skincare line before I tried this product, and well aware of the effects of hyaluronic acid. My skin is neither oily or dry, but rather takes on appearance, lustre and tone from the products I use. I do, however, suffer from hyperpigmentation. That being said, Vichy's Thermal Water Gel was always soothing, hydrating, toning and lightweight. A very small amount of this product, went a VERY long way. I began using this on the cusp of summer, and gave up make-up during said time. I did not have a single blemish during this time period, and while I do suffer from fine-lines, smile-lines, crows-feet, etc. I did have small scratch appear on the perimeter of my lip. After using this product for a week, the area where the once visible scratch was, was completely healed without any hyperpigmentation. And, I also noticed that in addition to my natural summer tan that Vichy's water gel had blurred the margins of preexisting dense pigmentation. I would definitely purchase this product, and I would most definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable product to potentially manage hyperpigmentation.
Most Helpful Critical Review Vichy water gel The first thing I noticed about this product was the smell. It had a very strong smell. At first the smell didn't bother me, because it was one of those generic clean scents, but the longer I had the jar open the more it started to get to me. The texture of this product is very silky and smooth, so it went on very well. I found that after 20 minutes my skin was kind of tacky feeling though. I didn't like the feeling of my skin after using this. Compared to other products I have used, this one doesn't seem to absorb as quickly, or smoothly as others. Before this product, I was aware of this brand before, and was curious to try this product. I would say that I do not recommend it, and would not buy it based on how it smells, and feels on my face after using it.

It's a decent moisturizer, the smell is okay, but a little strong if you're sensitive. Unfortunately the gel doesn't sit well with the other products in my skincare routine. It leaves my skin feeling tacky to the touch. I don't mind the scent, but my boyfriend hates it. I'll be trying the cream night formula next, and passing this along to my mom.

I LOVE this product and all Vichy products. It goes on light, absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy feeling afterwards. I am prone to breakouts and I have never had one using any of the vichy products; I only wish Ulta sold Nutrilogie 2 and their AMAZING face scrub. Would recommend all day long!

not my favorite. it's fragrant, kinda smelled like old lady perfume to me lol. my skin felt hydrated, but the smell just really ruined it for me.

The product has really made a difference in my skin. Not only does my skin feels smoother but I feel like it doesn't have any dryness with any of the retinol products that I use.

The powdery floral smell is absolutely horrible!! It's giving me a headache.
The moisturizer feels like it dried in a layer ON my skin. It's not sticky to the touch but it doesn't feel like it's absorbed INto my skin.
Even if it was the best moisturizer on the world (it's not) I couldn't put up with the smell. Yuck!

I tried this out as part of a sampling program. I am very pleased with this product! It's light, dries fast, and leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. It did not aggravate my sensitive skin, and it was a good balance for my combo skin. Also, I'm prone to breakouts, and this did not cause me to break out more.. in fact, I think it helped my skin to react less. I agree with another reviewer that I would love this in pump form, but the jar is ok. I think I will be adding this gel into my regular routine.

Dry skin is never ideal especially in the dry az heat. Sun damage is even worse. With vichy aqua thermal gel I work on eliminating both concerns with ease. My skin feels smooth and hydrated after each use

This was my first time using this product. By far, one of the best moisterizers that have suited my skin. The moisterizing effect last for days. It's awesome- light gel-like consistency- cooling. Very refreshing. I would use by applying once every morning and would not get that oily greasy feeling I would normally get from other named brand products. The only thing I would change is the strong scent but tht's just me. I felt the scent should be a little lighter. Other than that, it's great!

Prior to receiving a sample to review from Viewpoints I had never heard of Vinchy Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Water Gel. Compared to other products I've used to hydrate and combat fine lines on my faces it is mediocre. It definitely hydrates but I noticed no difference in my fine lines. I would not purchase nor would I recommend.

I have not liked my skin especially lately. Having extremely sensitive skin makes this worse as I cannot just use any product. I was reading that the ingredients are natural. I first noticed before opening that I loved the blue jar it comes in. I used this after my shower and instantly loved how smooth it felt. It felt like water. I noticed the hydrated skin just the very next day. I use this thermal water every other day and my skin looks and feels so nice. I really love this and after two weeks is when I fully glowed. I don't have too many fine lines yet but around my eyes and cheeks, I do have some that have smoothed.

As someone with combination skin who gets oily in the T-zone throughout the day, I don't like using lotions or products with oils in them since it feels like I'm just layering on the oil. So when I was given the opportunity to try this gel moisturizer, I was really excited! Vichy did not disappoint. It's water-based, which I like, had a silky smooth texture, and was easy to apply. I'm not a fan of the tub format, however, because this is less sanitary than using a pump or even a tube. That said, I applied this moisturizer before bed each night, after cleansing and toning my face. If I took a morning shower, I would apply it, as well, before putting on my makeup. Upon awakening, my skin felt noticeably more hydrated and looked more plump and glowy, so it definitely did its job. I will continue to use this moisturizer until its finished and consider purchasing another tub of it at that point because I really like that it is 97% natural-origin ingredients. Give it a try if you're looking for a gel moisturizer!

I really enjoyed this product and the benefits it gave me. My overall skin feels hydrated and looks better overall. However, while using this product I did have more breakouts but that may be just a coincidence. I also wish it had a better fragrance.

I felt in love with this product! The smell is fresh and not to strong. I'm using before bed and in the morning I have a fresh look. A small amount is enough to apply. It absorbs quickly and leaves the skin hydrated for a long time. I would highly recommend this amazing product!

Morning and night I wash my face and apply the Vichy gel. While it does hydrate my skin and leave my face glistening, I have yet to notice a difference in the fine lines on my forehead and bridge of my nose. I will keep using the product and update my review after the jar is finished.

The gel is very light and smooth. You can not feel it when you put it on.. it does have a light tingle to it but it subsided after a few minutes. Over all i seen a slight difference in my skin..

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Rehydrating Water Gel leaves my skin very soft, clean and hydrated. It feels very light-weight, absorbs into my skin immediately, is not oily and does not leave a my skin shiny. When I reached my 30's, I started to see fine lines by my eyes and forehead, this was the time to take action. I did not want to use anything heavy or with tons of parabens, silicones and oils which block my pores. I have used Vichy before because they make high quality products. It helps my skin stay hydrated all day especially now with the warm weather approaching.

I have been using Vichy Aqualia Water Gel for 3 weeks now and love it. It is my everyday moisturizer now. I love its water texture which doesnt make your skin oily, greasy or sticky at all and keep it hydrating all day. I notice my pore is tighten little. Would definitely recommend to my friends. My husband even likes to use it everyday now.

I wish I had found this product sooner! From the first time I used it I noticed a difference it lets my skin hydrated and notices fewer fine lines as I continued to use it. I put it on first thing in the morning and again before I go to bed, my face stays hydrated all day.

My experience using Aqualia Thermale Mineral Water Gel Face Cream with Hyaluronic Acid has helped rehydrate my dry summer skin. I have had two people tell me how refreshed my skin looked without makeup!I can tell a difference in the smoothness on my forehead and love the difference in my overall skin tone, and how soft my face feels now. I have tried other gel face creams and hydronic acid before but they seemed to not absorb as well or dry my skin out. I purchased some for my daughter as well and she loves how light weight it feels also. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future and will continue to recommend to my friends, because I love sharing great products that work!

I applied at night after my face was washed and before bed. 1st time I applied too much and left my face sticky so I had to wash it off before I went to bed. There after I only used a nickel amount on my whole face which created a light layer that dried and absorbed faster in to my skin. This product has a great light floral scent so it doesn't bother when on you face. I enjoyed using it after I learned how to apply the right amount. My advice is to use the minimum amount possible to create a light layer.
