Most Helpful Positive Review Best used as a primer, not a setting spray This feels super refreshing on my face! The spray is pretty dense though, so you have to kind of spread the product on your face using your hands after spraying. For this reason, I would NOT recommend using it as a setting spray. I think the primer aspect of it lasts throughout the day and feels nice and light.
Most Helpful Critical Review WAY overpriced This is just 1 fl oz. It's roughly the same price as Urban Decay or Skindinavia's products. NYX's primer spray is the same price but you get twice the amount. Those have a far, far better mister bottle. Go get them. You have to watch for ELF's pricing because while some are great deals, many of their products are not inexpensive once you figure out the amount of product you end up getting. This is ridiculous.

So I love this item, it's actually a wonderful primer. The problem lies within the way it sprays. It literally shots out. A mist would be MUCH better. For the price I'm willing to put up with the water gun spraying effect

I don't even know if it's a good primer because the nozzle spray is so aggressive and spotty it's impossible to distribute the product evenly on your face. It's also very wet (not a fine mist) and got in my hair and overall was not good.

I thought this would work as a setting spray, but it really only functions as a primer spray. I like using this on my beauty sponge to blend my concealer - it helps makeup go on easily with a dewy glow. Sometimes it can separate my makeup though, so it isn't my favorite.

I bought a little of this product to try, and soon ran out, and had to get more. This works well as an extra thin layer of hydration over my moisturizer. It helps to keep the surface application of foundation even, both with a brush and with my fingers. My skin has a "dewey" look without that feeling of oily topcoat or strange thickness that sometimes happens with makeup. I hold it farther away from my face than directed, and make sure to put my clothes on after my makeup is applied because of the overspray.

This is my first primer I've ever used and I love it! You will have to hold it back farther than recommended when spraying. It does spray thick but I just rub the excess in.

As a fan of sprays, this was right up my alley. But, I gotta agree with everyone else about the nozzle. Def need to hold further away than normal. Works great as a primer, but takes forever to dry. Also, because of how heavy this is, I would NEVER use this to set. Once dry, it's as lightweight as any other primer. Def gonna use the bottle up, but wouldn't buy again.

I used this as a primer and then used it to set my make-up. Bad idea. Very strange application. If recommend spraying it onto your hands and patting it onto your face as opposed to spraying directly onto your face. Great as a primer but NIRvana a setting spray. Will stick to my Nyx setting spray

This is the first primer I have ever used, and it does a good job at what its supposed to do, but I think that you can definitely find something better from ELFs selections of primers. Also the mister is harsh! So careful with that! If you want a dewy or natural look use this!

this is a great & it is really refreshing. it just needs an update on the spray nozzle. it comes out so dense & just absolutely soaks the spot its directed towards, rather than coming out as a mist that lands all over the face. i like to use it during my skin care routine as a little extra hydration, but i've resorted into spraying it on my hand & patting it in. it really could be an awesome product if they could just get it to come out as a mist.

Feels refreshing on the skin but the spray nozzle is far too dense, it's quite a surprise to get hit in the face like that haha. It feels nice but I don't notice a huge difference in my skin.

I have been using this product for over a year and it changed my life! I was never able to wear concealer before using this due to my dry skin flaking the moment I put product on it. I spray this on my face daily after washing with the Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and my makeup applies so smoothly and lasts all day. It is extremely lightweight and gives my skin that extra boost of hydration that it needs. I even use it on days I don't wear makeup because it feels so refreshing on my skin!
As other reviews have mentioned, the spray bottle this comes in doesn't work very well. I didn't find this an issue when I first bought it because I had mini travel spray bottles from dollarama that I poured it into and have been doing so ever since (they create the perfect amount of mist)! I don't have to use my hands at all to spread it.
I highly recommend this product for anyone who has dry skin (as long as you change the bottle so that you can spray it as a mist).

All my life I have never been able to keep make up on my oily face for more than 2 hours. It would just come off no matter what brand I used. I bought this spray on a whim...OMG, it actually keeps my make up on and in place for hours. This is THE FIRST product that has been successful. I spray once before and once after make up application and I'm good to go for hours. LOVE this product!

I have not used it yet. I just purchased it yesterday. I sprayed it on my hand to test it and my hand smelled like that throat chloraseptic spray alllll day. I almost don't even want to use it on my face. Came here just to see the reviews on it. Should've just kept it scent free.
