Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum:

I have used so many anti-redness products: R+F, Clinique, Prescription from the dermatologist, etc. and I can honestly say this works better than anything else I've tried. I'm only sad that I've spent so much money on other products in the past that didn't work as well as this does.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum:

Bought this based on the reviews. Had been fruitlessly trying to clear up rosacea symptoms for two years (do not want to take meds). This product has given me results I never could have dreamed! The tiny rosacea pimples have gone an dthe redness is significantly diminished. I absolutely cannot believe how much this product has helped me. I strongly urge people to try it - it has truly given me miraculous results! Also - some have written about the smell - I have a hypersensitive sense of smell and there is virtually no detectable scent with this product. Zilch.

      no difference in redness

      By applepie

Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum:

I appreciate that there are no artificial scents added to this, but they could add some essential oils or SOMETHING. The smell is unpleasant and I have not noticed any reduction in redness or evening out of skin tone. I will be returning this. it is my first purchase of FAB products. I'm dissapointed.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder

      By Kari

Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum:

Did not realize how well this product worked until I ran out and failed to reorder for a few weeks. Really corrects the redness under my nose and helps my very fair, 31 year old skin look alive. Excellent price and lasts for decent amount of time.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum:

You guys. Come on now. You are all seriously underselling the stench of this serum. I get that this is a sulfur based product but still. It reeks. I'm laying in bed right now, getting a massive headache and debating washing this junk off. I smell like a rotten egg. I smell like a firework. I smell like a match. It's awful. There are few experiences worse than having your stomach turn over the smell of your own face. I'm going to put my Organics Ginzing moisturizer over it and pray that it knocks some of the smell out. Because this is horrible.

This product is great for rosacea sufferers. It tones down the redness on my face plus my chest, which is especially nice because I don't want to smear makeup on all of my visible skin to even my tone out. This serum definitely has a permanent spot in my skincare regimen!

Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum:

This completely soothes my rosacea! I have used other sulfur based products before that we're prescribed by my dermatologist, this is cheaper, soothes better, and smells much better. This serum has only a hint of sulfur and I don't smell it on my skin (you only need a tiny bit).

            By maggie

            from south dakota

Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum:

I have rosacea and this helps soften and reduce the redness on my cheeks by at least 80%. the smell is only slightly sulfur. Having used various washes and creams for rosacea (which contained more sulfur than this) I find this cream light and the smell almost nonexistent.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Anti-Redness Serum:

I bought this in hopes that is will lessen the redness from my cheeks. While I only used this for about a week and a half, I did feel that when I applied this at night, the redness decreased in the morning. However, the smell of this was just too potent and funky for me. The scent is hard to describe, but the kicker is that is lasted for what seemed like hours. Even when I put moisturizer on top of it, I could still smell it. For the price of this, I was hoping for more results. Returned.

I'm going to try the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair line next.

This did nothing for my red skin and caused me to break out on my forehead. I've used it for 6 weeks now (the lady at the store said it would take a while to see results) and have seen no difference. This is too much to wear under my moisturizer and makeup in the AM and makes my face look cakey

Is this product used specifically for redness or does it help fight acne as well? I've been having bad flare ups lately and was curious about this serum.

Anti-Redness Serum is formulated specifically to relieve redness in the skin. We recommend trying the Skin Rescue Blemish Patrol Pads for acne prone skin.

                • Q:

I have really oily, acne prone, sensitive skin. I cant use shea butter on my face because its too heavy and breaks me out really bad. I cant use most moisturizers since my skin reacts to anything heavy at all which makes it difficult to find a good lightweight moisturizer for my skin, but also sometimes my skin feels tight after i moisturize. Would this work as a lightweight moisturizer? (I usually use gel moisturizers since they dont have a thick consistancy)

                    A:

While Anti-Redness Serum is great for combatting redness and irritation, we would not recommend using it alone as a moisturizer as it may not provide enough hydration for your skin. We recommend Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer, which is light weight and easily absorbs into the skin, providing your skin with the moisture that it needs without being too heavy.

I have normal to oily skin and I say this because I am oily all throughout the day but after I wash my face, it feels dry and dehydrated. I have occasional acne flare ups and a lot of redness all year round. Would this product work for my skin? If not what would you recommend instead?

                    A:

If your face is dry and dehydrated after you cleanse, then you are probably using the wrong cleanser. First Aid Beauty Face Cleanser is a gentle yet effective and will not dry out your skin. The Anti-Redness Serum will help you manage any redness you have. After using it, follow with Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer, a non-pore clogging hydrator that will help balance your skin and deliver the moisture you need.

                    A:

No, broken capillaries require in-office treatment by a dermatologist, as it is a condition that goes below the surface of the skin and cannot be addressed with topical skincare. This serum contains caffeine, which is a vasoconstrictor, and will help strengthen the capillaries in the skin. It will not eliminate dilated or broken capillaries, but will assist in alleviating the overall noticeable redness that these dilated capillaries can cause.

I am exciting First Aid Beauty is finally available in ULTA!!! I heard so many good things about this skincare line! My question to this specific product is mostly relate to the step on applying. Do I apply this after cleansing and toning my face but before moisturizer on day and night? Also what's the average expect result or mostly notice improvement pretty much after applying? and what exact amount of product recommended to apply (not too much to waste but enough to take effect) Thank You in advance!

                    A:

FAB Anti Redness Serum calms facial redness and is also very soothing and hydrating. We recommend using it in the morning and night on clean, dry skin before applying moisturizer to lock in moisture. A small amount goes a long way, so start with just one pump. We notice results immediately, however it also works to minimize flare ups over time. Enjoy! :-)
