Most Helpful Positive Review Holy Grail I have never written a review here before but these negative reviews prompted me to do just that, as they seem very misleading. This primer is absolutely amazing. By simply reading the list of ingredients, you can see that it contains caffeine and cucumber, ingredients that for centuries helped women fight puffiness and brighten the eyes. One has to make sure to apply the primer correctly. Ulta as well as Becca offer instructions. Moreover you can see the video on Becca's website. A little goes a long way. I personally experience a bit of a tingling and cooling sensation. I work crazy hours and suffer from puffy eyes in the morning. It literally takes this primer about one minute to completely get rid of any signs of puffy tired eyes. The make up goes on smoothly and stays all day. It actually worked so well for me that I stopped using any concealer or brightener most days. We are all different but don't discount this item based on these negative reviews. You can read a lot more reviews on other websites or simply stop by the store to try it. It truly is one of the best things I have ever tried in make up/ skin care.
Most Helpful Critical Review Can't recommend I really wanted to like this product. I have under eye circles. Of course I wear concealer to help those out. Concealer is my friend and I pretty much don't go a day without it. However I crease. With or without setting powder or spray, I crease. I went to purchase a product to help with the creasing. The store associates stated that this would help. I'm pretty sure this works for someone but it just does not work for me. I've only used it for a few days and my creasing actually seemed worse. I did like the cooling effect I felt under my eye area however there was no real benefit to wearing this primer. I just cannot recommend this product.

This product helps to keep my under eyes from being so dry. I use this after applying my under eye moisturizer. It locks in the moisture from my moisturizer and it helps to add moisture. The cooling effect does not last all day but it does help to wake up my tired eyes. I have mature dry eyes and this definitely helps me. I still see my dark circles but it's not as prominent as when I do not use this. I do not think that it's meant to hide dark circles but to blur the looks of them. It does prep my under eyes for color corrector. I know that everything is not for everyone but this is a winner in my book.
I received this product in a Boxycharm but once I am done using this product I will purchase this because it does work for me.
Ineffective 2

I've been using this for several months after receiving it in a Boxycharm and had no idea what it was actually supposed to do until I looked at this page. No cooling effect whatsoever, feels really dry on my already dry undereyes, and doesn't do anything for darkness. I can't tell if it helps concealer stop creasing, so that's the only thing I won't knock it for.
Under Eye Creasing Gone 5

HOLY GRAIL for oily skin and under-eye fine lines!!!
I have oily skin and very fine lines under my eyes that cause concealer to crease making my under eye area look much, much worse than the problem I'm trying cover up (hereditary dark circles). This is the first product/step in my under eye regimen that had made a difference in under eye creasing. I now have ZERO CREASING, which I thought would be impossible. This product is magic!
Product pairs nicely with Becca's under eye powder for brightening, but my concealer still creases horribly when this primer is paired with with the Becca under eye brightener.
Love the cooling feeling and the results! 4

My bruises have healed but I still have faint remnants. This product is moisturizing and deflects from the darkness. Love it!
Not a miracle but it definitely does help smooth 4

I waited to review this because I honestly didn't know if it was doing anything. I actually stopped using it for a while but after quarantine I thought I would turn over a new leaf and start wearing a little bit of makeup to work to stop looking like the living dead. So, i've been using it faithfully 5 times a week since I came back to work in mid-May and i've now hit pan. I figured that it was time to share my thoughts.
I have bad dark circles that I use a peachy toned corrector on. I apply this, then apply my powder foundation everywhere on my face, and then put on my peachy corrector on (some days I set it, some days I don't).
Will it take years off of your appearance? No. Will it make your under eye circles disappear? No. But it does feel cooling, and it does smooth. If you don't put any makeup over it, it has a very slight mattifying effect (not like you've powdered, just sort of blurs shine a little bit). I'm over 40 with dry skin so whenever I apply anything under my eye it always shows every bit of texture. With this underneath makeup, my under eyes look like skin and you can't tell I have any product on. It just generally looks better. My corrector applies and blends way more smoothly.
If you're having issues w/creasing, you're using way too much. I swirl my finger around in the product maybe 2-3 times and swipe it under my eye area (from inner to outer corner) and just sort of smooth it out.
Just OK, nothing special 3

I used this product for a couple of months hoping I could figure out the "trick" to make it work since some people really seem to love it. I would use more, use less, wait for it to set before putting on my concealer, put my concealer on immediately after applying, etc....When I first purchased it, I really could tell no difference - my make up and eyes looked exactly the same whether I had the the product on or not. As it got warmer out though, it would cause my concealer to pill. I've quit using it all together. Don't waste your money on this.
LOVE IT 5
Chrissy from NJ
I saw a lot of reviews saying it did nothing which may be true for some people but this honestly made such a difference in my opinion. I noticed it smoothed the appearance of my under eyes and made them very moisturized. It also felt quite nice applying it and I would 100% recommend! Would absolutely rebuy this if I ever ran out.

What's the past tense for "scam?" Is it "scrumped?"
I honestly laughed when I applied this because I knew right then it was hot garbage. You can barely feel it on your fingers/eyes when applying, and it truly makes no difference whatsoever. Don't buy this. I'm returning as soon as the stores reopen.
It's a YES for me 5

It looks like people have had mixed results with this. For me, there is a very noticeable difference in my undereye smoothness when I use this. I am 45 years old with somewhat wrinkled undereyes. I do use serums and a heavy cream at night, and apply extra moisture to my undereye area after washing my face in the a.m. I let that soak into my skin, then use this Becca product to apply a very light layer after moisturizer but before applying concealer. You have to gently press it into the area before going over it with a light layer of concealer. This is keeper for me.

I use this every morning before applying my under eye coverage. I use it again later in the day before applying a touchup, if needed.
It works! 5
Dutch Girl from Cinnaminson, NJ
For this 50+ year old with serous dark circles, I can see a bit of fading plus it smooths the eye area. My eye make-up goes on smoothly - and stays on.
Yes, it DOES work! 5

Just received this and immediately tried it under one eye only so I could see if there was a difference. After just a few minutes there was an EXTREMELY noticeable difference between the two. I have some HEAVY bags under my eyes and this stuff reduced the puffiness by at least 80%. I will 100% be repurchasing this when the time comes! As a side note, for those saying it didn't help with dark circles, that is not what this product is for, nor does it make any claims for that. Becca also has an amazing color corrector/brightener for dark circles (which I also have and love) and this pairs perfectly with that. The description says this is a great prep step for before applying the color corrector/brightener. If your only concern is dark circles, this isn't the right product for you. Check out the other one. :)
Not for me... 2
Eve from Corona, Ca
I am a 34 year old mommy of 2 so of course I have some puffiness and darkness under my eyes. I have tried this product for 5 days now and have got to say it made my eye bags look worse, accentuated the small amount of wrinkles I have around my eyes. My concealer (Shape Tape) creased in small wrinkles I had never seen before! I'm trying to look refreshed not more tired. It also stings the eyes a bit don't know why...? It works ok alone without makeup. But definitely will not use under makeup anymore it traps the concealer and powder in every single fine line and makes your under eye area look droopy from the make up caking.
Amazing Product! 5
KatyBug from Broken Arrow, OK
I've been on the fence about purchasing this. I've seen a few YouTube people rave about it. I started noticing fine lines under my eyes after applying concealer and baking my undereye area. I figured I would try this out, and man, I wish I would have bought this earlier!!! I do also use the Becca under eye corrector and have been for years. These 2 work well together. I've even just used this and put concealer over this and it works just fine! No more lines or creasing!! I highly recommend this to anyone!
Been waiting for nothing :( 2
Under eye product splurger from Cleveland
I saw this online when it first came out & wanted it. It just recently hit my Ulta store so of course I was stoked when I saw it on the shelf! However, I will be returning. It does nothing other than give me a nice cooling/tingling sensation for a few minutes after I apply. I wasn't expecting a miracle, but I was expecting some sort of change/reduction, even if it just helped my makeup hide my defects better. Did not reduce puffiness nor did it help with the dark circles or lines. Not even with makeup over it. No changes whatsoever :( So disappointing. I've purchased sooo many products & nothing ever does what it says. I also don't like that the directions say to "massage" it on. Tugging on my under eye skin is not something I like to do.
Love it! 5

This did exactly what I needed it to do. It smoothed the skin under the eyes so my concealer did not settle. it's great! I do use it with the under eye setting powder as well. together they work perfectly.
I would recommend this products for all skin types 5

Stick this in the fridge for a bit before applying under concealer! Definitely brightened my under eye area and seems to help minimize morning puffiness!
That's a big NOPE. 2

Bought this on a Saturday, returned it on a Sunday after I had spent hours playing with it. If you use it off label as a lip primer it's fairly stellar but for under eye it made me concealer cakey and patchy. It created "smooth flakes" and I don't have dry under eyes - but it fooled me into even double guessing my skin. I tried 3 different concealers and different brushes & sponges as I loved the idea of this and wanted it to work so bad. Sadly this was a fail on my fair, combo skin, 31 year old under eyes.
