Comments about Orlando Pita Play Ampli-Tint Color Depositing Hair Mask:
I'm a brunette and I had my hair bleached (balayage) and dyed a lighter shade of brown a couple of months ago. The dye has almost completely washed out, leaving the so I had been experimenting with adding color to the bleached parts. I decided to try Copper. To use this product, I washed my hair, wrung it out and brushed it, then applied a generous amount to my hair, waited 5-10 minutes and rinsed. I immediately noticed that my hair felt well conditioned. It was surprisingly gentle for a dye. I love the shade that resulted as well. It's somewhere between strawberry blonde and auburn, which is the look I was hoping to achieve. My only complaints are that it was hard to apply color evenly so in some places it's more or less red, but not super noticeably so. Also the dye stained the towel I used to dry my hair off and shower curtain. I hope the stains will come out in the wash!

Have a great copper red color I love, didn't even leave this on 5 minutes and my hair is dark red. There's no copper in here. Also expect a mask to be moisturizing- nope.

Comments about Orlando Pita Play Ampli-Tint Color Depositing Hair Mask:
I have pretty thick hair, so using small amounts didn't quite color all my hair. It colored the majority of my hair the right color but a few strands turned pinkish.

Comments about Orlando Pita Play Ampli-Tint Color Depositing Hair Mask:
I use the copper red and it helps between my salon Redken Shades temp color I get. I never have used a permanent color on my hair. This helps brighten and masks the grey. It does not have "strong" enough pigment in any of the colors to totally color your hair. I'm not sure why some of the reviews are complaining that it wrecked their hair color...unless the hair is over processed with other products.
It's not possible.
Anyway... this great pick me up for anyone's hair and is not permanent or damaging.

This isn't meant to be a bold color. I use about 1 to 2 Tbs and work it in especially around the face. I only have about 10 minutes to leave it on in the shower. Before I rinse it out, I add a little water and lather it up all over my hair and leave for a few minutes. It adds golden highlights and shine to my fine hair. It doesn't cover the gray but helps by giving a little golden tone. I love this product.
Comments about Orlando Pita Play Ampli-Tint Color Depositing Hair Mask:
I had a nice copper-auburn color that FINALLY matched my natural color. To be honest, it looked fantastic. I used this product to try to revamp the copper a little, and it ruined my hair. My hair is now almost cherry red, and it looks terrible. I want a refund, I'm furious. Do not buy this product!

Debating whether or not to go back to red so I decided to get this in copper red. My hair was brown. This made it the most beautiful shade. I left it on for an hour. Used it a week ago. I shampoo everyday and the color is still gorgeous. So much better than using permanent hair color and now I know exactly what shade to show my stylist I want when I do decide to make it permanent. Highly recommend!

I use color depositing conditioners and at-home color glazes a lot and this beats them all. It's almost as good as a demi-permanent at home color kit. I have dark chestnut brown hair and I wanted to amp up the red tones so I used the copper version. Left it on for about 20 minutes and rinsed - wow! Really noticeable red reflections, especially in the light. And the tint stays for over a week (I wash my hair daily). I've since bought another one in red as well as brunette and golden blond. Don't expect it to light or change your color - there's no ammonia or other ingredients in it that would do that. But for me it's very noticeable and long lasting.
Comments about Orlando Pita Play Ampli-Tint Color Depositing Hair Mask:
I ordered this mask to brighten my hair color and left it on the minimum amount of time - 5 minutes - and my hair was bright red! I'm a natural redhead more on the copper, strawberry blonde spectrum and this made my hair almost purple red. And worse my hair feels completely wrecked! Dry, frizzy, damaged and brittle. I re-washed it today after doing this treatment yesterday. This helped fade the color slightly but it still feels terrible. I'm 52 and getting gray hair, so my hair is color treated and I thought this would help brighten between color. My hair is naturally curly and porous. It's healthy, though and I treat it regularly with deep conditioners and use professional products to protect the color. I have used products like John Freida color gloss and I thought this would be a better bet since it was marketed as a mask. But I was so disappointed..will be bringing it back to the store and now I need something to repair the damage!

This color mask actually works and doesn't dry out the hair. The smell is just ok.
