    Amazing powder foundation

    By Powder foundation girl

    from Bellevue WA

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

Until I tried this Kat Von D lock it powder foundation was my go to. This foundation is much more natural looking with medium to full coverage ( you can layer to add more) and color range is much better than Kat Von D. I do have to touch up once a day but other than that it's prefect.

I have oily/acne prone skin. i have given up on liquid foundation, no matter what primer or foundation i use it never sits on my skin and within an hour begins to separate. this is my go to foundation because its fool proof, easy, you can layer it and never cakey.

I have been using this product for a few years now. When I run out I always try to find another powder to beat it but always come back to this one. It goes great over a liquid foundation or even just the powder alone. It's the only powder I can find that stays on all day with good coverage.

the best powder foundation I have found

        By al

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

This is a decent product for being a powder coverage. If you have dry skin this might not be for you. Also, I don't like wearing this when I'm having breakouts as it does tend to fade over a long day. Overall, it's the best powder foundation I have found as far as coverage and longevity when used with the kabuki brush it does give a beautiful finish. My skin is really sensitive and I haven't had any breakouts while using this.

            • Q:

Urban Decay recently discontinued the "Naked Skin Ultra Definition Loose Finishing Powder" and I am trying to find a new one. I was using the "Naked Medium Light" shade which I use over "Lancôme Bienfait Teinte Beauty Balm" in the "2 Clair" shade. They are both perfectly matched for my skin and when used together. This Tarte powder has come highly recommended as a good Urban Decay replacement. Which Tarte color shade would you recommend?

Since that shade is from another brand, it's difficult to determine your exact match. Check out the online shade descriptions -- they'll tell you the ideal shade for each unique skintone & undertone or stop by your nearest Ulta Beauty to test them out on your skin. • Q:

I bought this with the recommended Airbuki brush. When applied as instructed here by buffing, I find it enhances any texture in my skin (wrinkles, pores, tiny bumps.) I think the brush may be the problem- it doesn't spread the powder well at all. The bristles seem to be too short to blend the product in a wide enough area. Does anyone have a better brush to recommend? Or, perhaps the foundation is better for just younger skins, as I am over 50?
