Comments about SheaMoisture African Water Mint & Ginger Shea Butter Lip Balm:

My lips feel soft and I loved the cooling feeling from the mint. She is quite thicc and it did catch me off guard with how hard you have to push the tube but I don't mind once I finally get to use it.

My lips used to hurt real bad

By G

from AR

Comments about SheaMoisture African Water Mint & Ginger Shea Butter Lip Balm:

It is a thick formula, and I do reapply more than a couple of times a day, but I'm very pleased so far. My lips were painfully chapped and it has pretty much healed completely in about a day. I'm really picky about my chapstick - I try to avoid petroleum, I am so over Burts Bees, and didn't really want to spend $16 on lipbalm (I'm looking at you, Lano). This product has met my needs and so far not caused any problems.

Smells great, feels nice, but the texture is a bit thin and wears off fast. I probably won't buy again

Comments about SheaMoisture African Water Mint & Ginger Shea Butter Lip Balm:

    This stuff is great.
I love all the Shea moisture products and I'm so glad they are making a lip balm now.
This lip balm could be a bit thinner.
    It's very thick.
A little goes a long way.
    It's not a gloss.
So if that's what your wanting this isn't for you.
It's more like a balm or a chap stick.
I do like the tube form.
The mint is just subtle so even if your not particularly a fan of mint you should still like this.
It works so well to moisturize lips and also works well as a base for lip gloss or lipstick.

Shea moisture is an amazing brand so figured I'd try their lip balm and I am so glad I did. Like a crazy person I bought all 4 flavors/scents and I adore every single one. Thick enough to make your lips feel amazing but not to thick. My favorite lip balm hands down.

Comments about SheaMoisture African Water Mint & Ginger Shea Butter Lip Balm:

I love the smell and consistency. The product is quite thick so you have to squeeze the tube pretty hard. The back crimped end of the tube blew out all over my hand maybe the 10th time I used it.

I use this every day before I leave the house and it lasts long. I Love this company's trusted ingredients most of all. It feels a bit gritty at first but that goes away. I have experienced that with other "natural" lip ointments.
