Comments about SheaMoisture African Black Soap Problem Skin Toner:

I bought this toner spray because I have severe cystic acne and was told African Black Soap was good for that. Using this toner hasn't necessarily made my skin worse, but it hasn't really improved either, which is a bummer. I probably won't be re-buying.

I try to use this every morning when I wake up. Instead of washing my face in the morning, I spray this on a cotton ball/pad and it refreshes me. Also it really does help even on skin tone and gets rid of blemishes. I love it

    One week of use

    By Laina

    from 99711

Comments about SheaMoisture African Black Soap Problem Skin Toner:

I have oily skin so I don't necessarily need moisture and idk if this has any in it. When spraying this on the face it's way too much product, so I'd say use a cotton ball/round. It leaves a weird film if you use the spray directly on the face, but with a cotton ball I've noticed it's shrunk my pores very nicely.

    Honestly not the best

    By Ak

Comments about SheaMoisture African Black Soap Problem Skin Toner:

I was excited to try this. As i love the African black soap line. But this didn't really make a difference for me. Clean and clear astringent works way better for me than this. I wanted to love it, i just couldn't.

Unfortunately this made me break out. It was the only thing I changed in my skin care routine so I know this is the culprit. I don't have sensitive skin and have not had a problem with a product like this before. Says it's for problem skin but only gave me problem skin. This one is going back...

Comments about SheaMoisture African Black Soap Problem Skin Toner:

I bought this toner to help with removing all the dirt at the end of the day and also providing an extra boost when my skin is trying to break out. It works very well for both, and also noticeably tightens my pores after cleansing and helps heal breakouts. There is a smell, but I really wouldn't call it bad, especially since it disappears so fast. This doesn't leave anything on my skin and I've had no problems layering serums and moisturizer over it. It is effective but has never caused over drying or irritation.

I'm 16 y/o, I have troubled-skin and as for right now I have mostly acne spots/scars. I'm also new to this brand, so I have many questions to ask but I would like to ask one of my main ones.
I'm currently using Shiseido Ibuki Multi-Solution - I'm not sure if it's a moisturizer or just probably spot treatment, am I able to use the African Black Soap Problem Skin Toner with the Ibuki gel? Or no?
If so, should I add the toner first? Then apply the Ibuki Gel from Shiseido, or the Ibuki Gel THEN the toner?

                    A:

It is safe to use our African Black Soap Problem Skin Toner with other products. It purifies skin by removing any traces of dirt and make-up and controls shine without drying. Adds a matte finish to skin and refines the appearance of large pores. We suggest singing this after washing your face.
