Comments about Murad Acne Control Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel:

I bought this on an impulse. I was kind of surprised and hesitant because I beleive the retail price was somethign like $65. But I decided to give it a try because I'm tired of having old and new acne scar spots and I was hoping that it might help even out the tone and color. I've been using it for about a week and a half, in conjunction with the Acne Treatment box set, and have definitly seen a lightening of the scars and a brightening in my complexion. I'm glad I decied to buy this on a whim and spend the money because I feel much better about my skin.

You get what you pay for. A little pricey, but its worth every cent. Only been using a week and my post acne scars seems to be evening out with the rest of my skin tone. Not dramatic results yet, but i can see a difference in the week I've been using it. I've been using it along with the anti age acne kit. I wanted to try the kit to try out the spf and satisfied with all the other products in the kit. Give Murad a try.

We always suggest washing every morning and evening. The Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel would have penetrated down throughout the night so by morning it's important to properly cleanse and treat your skin with either another brightening serum or just a day moisturizer with SPF.

If you have extremely sensitive skin I would suggest working on hydrating your skin first. When our skin is dry it can become very reactive and using active treatment products could cause irritation. I would go back to the basics of cleansing, then using Sensitive Skin Soothing Serum, and Perfecting Day Cream SPF 30 during the day and Hydro Dynamic Ultimate Moisture at night.

If you still have a few acne breakouts I would suggest using the Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel. The combination of the hydroquinone and Salicylic Acid will help with post acne pigment. But it is so important to use sunscreen during the day everyday to help further lighten the redness.

I would recommend not using the Post-Acne Spot Lightening Gel if you know you are going to be in the sun. If it's just casual exposure that's ok as long as you pair it with a sunscreen but if you know you will be in direct sun for an extended amount of time I would wait to start.
