Most Helpful Positive Review You won't go back! It's amazing what a difference a good mirror makes. I've had mine for about 3 years now and can vouch for the quality and reliability of this product. Takes your makeup application to the next level, and super helpful for those of us who use glasses or put contacts in after doing makeup. Color temperature is perfect and mirror does not get hot even after long periods of use.
Most Helpful Critical Review It's okay.... The mirror is okay. You have to stay close and not move too fast or you'll end up looking blurry. It works but I wouldn't say it's worth the price

I use it to apply make-up. Had it 6 days I am not impressed. I know my mirrors I have got one that I've had for 18 years I absolutely love it. Has no light, no brand name is on or serial # wore off after all these years. The magnification is 100% perfect. Normal mirror on one side ?? on the other..
With this one purchased 6 days ago, the light goes out when i am looking into it. Even when it's plugged into the wall. When walking over to it sometimes it comes on, Mostly I have to touch the sensor. I am not going to keep doing that all th time. It's going back.
Could be better 2

I've had this mirror a couple years and at first I loved it. I loved how long the charge lasted and how bright the light gets. But after a while, I noticed the pneumatic pressure in the arm doesn't hold. The mirror constantly slips too low and it's impossible to see myself to put makeup on. I bought a different simplehuman mirror I vastly prefer so I likely won't keep this one much longer.
I love my Simple Human mirror. Best ever! 5

Everything about the Simple Human mirror is good. I purchased 2 more for Christmas gifts.
So easy to use and everything that you would want in a makeup mirror......
LOVE this mirror! 5

I received a mirror like this as a gift about 6 years ago and used it every single day. I loved it. It accidentally fell off the bathroom counter and stopped holding a charge. I liked it so much that I bought this one to replace it. It's a lot of money for a makeup mirror BUT it is WORTH IT! The lighting with this mirror is spectacular. The mirror is exceptionally clear with no distortions. My husband and I both use it several times a day - makeup, flossing teeth, contact lenses, skin inspections... LOL, you name it. It is beautiful on the counter. If I hadn't been given one as a gift I probably would have never spent this much on a mirror. Thank heaven my SIL blessed me with this as a gift years ago. If you have someone who has everything and are looking for a gift === THIS IS PERFECT!!
Doesn't work after a while 1

Initially loved this mirror but after a while it would no longer stay charged, I have to keep it on the charger just to use it very annoying.
LOVE THIS MIRROR 5

I have a 5X magnification mirror that I have used for years to put on my makeup. I saw the Simplehuman mirror advertised on TV and thought it looked interesting. I purchased it at Ulta and it is magnificent!!! The lighting can be turned off if you don't need it (I have a makeup area that is in front of a window so I don't use the lighting much). And I could not believe how much better the 5X magnification was on the Simplehuman mirror. OMG!!! The clarity is so spectacular that you can see every little detail when you use it. (Sometimes scary when you're not looking your best UGH). Very happy with my purchase even though it was an expensive one. Definitely worth it for me.
Perfect! 5

This mirror is exactly what I was looking for. 5x magnification to see close up hairs for tweezing or putting on makeup. Love that it's chargeable so there's no cord. You can keep it anywhere. Lightning is perfect from dim to super bright. Love it!
This mirror sucks! 1

I have never bought a makeup mirror as expensive as this, but it is well worth it. I would buy it again!
worst investment ever. 3

This mirror is the absolute worst. Every 6 seconds I have to turn it back on. That's about 12 times a minute. my makeup averages 20 minutes when I'm not having to atop in the middle of what I'm doing to turn the mirror back on. I absolutely hate this.
I've enjoyed it 4

Overall it is a great mirror. Battery life could be a little better but I can't do my makeup without it anymore. It is very bright also which is nice :)
Not worth your money 1

The mirror light stays on all the time and the light on the mirror it self does not. This mirror is too expensive for it not to have a shut off button
Prefer on/off switch 3
DR LJM from Michigan
Because it is turned on or lights up by motion detection it goes off whenever "it " thinks there's NO motion. When I apply makeup I do not make a lot of motion so it is constantly going dark many times before I'm done! Also the light in the room must be somewhat dim and I like it very bright. Therefore I much prefer an on/off button on my makeup lighted mirror. Quite disappointed for the price!
Good, but not grear 3

I really like this product for applying my eyeshadow and doing my brows. However it does not work well for styling my hair. I have to go to my bathroom and look at the larger mirror that we have there anytime I want to get a full picture of my face or style my hair. I really wish the magnification on this was a little less or if they had an option for less magnification and higher magnification.

It's a great mirror - well it would be if it actually worked correctly. The light itself is perfect and doesn't have that annoying yellow tint many other led mirrors can have, but I had nothing but issues getting the light to come on and stay on. There's no button to manually turn the light itself on/off, it's supposed to just sense when your face is in front of it and light up, and stay lit up until you move away from the mirror. Well, not only did the mirror I purchased not light up when you get in front of it, but after increasing the brightness slider on the right side thinking it would stay on while my face is literally right in front of it, it doesn't. complete waste of money. Will be returning and continuing my search for another lighted makeup mirror.
Game changer ! 4

Let me start by first saying how hard of a time I had just to get the mirror. The third party LSO delivery service was awful took 2 weeks to receive and when they had to ship another because I never got the first it never turned off. It was a bit scratched up as well as I noticed others in the store was the same. Simple human was nice enough to send me a new one and it came with its own bag Ulta doesn't :( so beware I won't use online to ship to my house anymore especially for something like this and the amount

read all the reviews but I cannot get the light to stay on unless I touch it or my face is right up against it. and even then, it's not as bright as I had hoped. I mainly use for tweezing - not make up application. I also thought the cord was short for when I needed to recharge. For the price - just not worth it.
Very pleased 5

After reading reviews and doing research, I opted purchasing this makeup mirror. While the price point is rather steep, the overall quality outweighs the cost. The highest setting is very bright, The lowest setting is more than adequate. The technology of this product far exceeds my expectation. If you are on the fence and your budget will allow, give this mirror a shot. You will not be disappointed.

Love it when it works 2

I've had this mirror for a little over two months and now I have to literally put my face ON the mirror for the light to stay on, or wave my
Hand in front of it to turn it back on because it shuts off all the time. Returning it to the store ASAP
Very detailed mirror 4
Madz from California
You can see everything with this mirror which could be a good or a bad thing. Keep in mind that this is a magnified mirror so you really get a zoomed in version of your face and you can't really do your hair with this mirror. The one positive is you really get a good idea of how your make up is looking so it would look good in all kinds of lights.
Worth the cost 4

This is the best mirror I've owned so far. It's easy to see yourself and I love how the light automatically comes on and shuts off. I had to knock a star off for the price- it's craxy expensive. I saved up points or I'd never have been able to buy it.
Best mirror 5

It worths every penny ! Great quality and brightness. I got one and my mom and dad loved how they could see all the details again! so I got them one as a gift because the price is going to shock them but I am more than happy to give them better vision!! Love this mirror.
i have had to replace this mirror 3 times 2

this is a great mirror when it works. unfortunately the lifespan of this mirror is about 1 year. I have had to replace it over and over. The company has been good in replacing it thus far, but for this price it should last longer
So Worth It 4

I didn't want to spend this much on a mirror even after a 20% off coupon, but I don't have the opportunity to use natural light when doing my makeup and my $20 mirror was not working at all for me.
This is so worth every penny. You'll find hairs you didn't know you had. And the magnification is perfect, especially for plucking your eyebrows or eyeshadow and for making sure your foundation looks good. That was one problem I was having before this mirror. My makeup would look great then I'd go outside and I'd look a hot mess.
This mirror prevents that. You can literally see everything on your face, which may or may not be a good thing. I don't have a problem with it "getting too blurry" or anything like that, but I also naturally have to be close to my mirror because I wear glasses and can't see unless I'm closer.
The mirror itself is very sturdy and well made. It has a good weight to it and the light settings are perfect. Even the dimmest is still pretty bright, and the brightest is super bright.
The ONLY problem I have encountered is that when I do my makeup I sit at a desk... when I reach over in a drawer or move my head just out of reach the light turns off. I wish there was a setting to keep the light on continuously instead of it only being on a sensor.
Also, when charging, there's no option to turn it "off."
