I originally fell in love with a much pricier Bakuchiol product. In the hopes of not breaking the bank, I thought I would give Revolution's a try. At this point, I'm several months into using this, and I think there are some important things to know in deciding if this product is for you. First off, this is NOT a substitute for retinol. To me, this is best alongside a routine using retinol (bakuchiol in the AM, retinol at night). I know this isn't helpful information for those who are pregnant/sensitive, but in my experience, it's simply not the same as using retinol - granted, this has pros in that it's also much gentler on the skin. The biggest difference to me is that retinol seems to target my acne AND fine lines, while this seems to target only those signs of aging. Also worth noting: I've come to love the color of this (surprisingly as usually I hate dyes in skincare) as it gives a lovely brightening to the skin, but with a con - it does pill under some foundations. I would recommend this for makeup-free days or PM use. Overall, I'm a fan of this and very much appreciate the transparency of knowing the percentage as well as the price, and yet I can easily see why this product isn't for everyone!
Not worth it
Letty from Arlington
Bought this thinking it would be a more affordable way of getting rid of my fine lines underneath my eyes, I was very wrong! It make my under eyes become very dry causing my lines to become worse, after it dried it would start to feel which is so gross. Don't recommend getting it at all waste of money. Horrible, Does Not Penetrate, Rolls off
Diana from New York
This product is horrible. I can't even use it because it rolls off. Probably because they put paraffin in it. It doesn't penetrate the skin well. Do not buy this. I wouldn't consider it a serum. Cheap stuff.

I have normal skin & I'm a licensed cosmetologist & esthetician.
I'm always interested in trying new things, & with bakuchiol being a retinol alternative, this really piqued my interest.
What I've found is that this is not strong enough to have any effect. I used it for 8 weeks while keeping the rest of my skincare the same, & this just didn't produce any results, no matter how small.
This could be good for a teenager trying to get into skincare, but not for a 25 year old looking to start being proactive about anti-aging.

I began to incorporate this good retinol alternative after hearing lots of good things about it
I just started to use for face wrinkles and eye area. Good that you can use it daytime and/or nighttime. You can incorporate it with basically any ingredients at your routine. I just started . Results in 12 weeks. Hopefully by December . So far it is a pleasure to use, and I love lavender color of it
