Mavala

Stop

Item #: 2246961 Size: 0.3 oz

Nail biting is a nervous habit, which can rapidly become uncontrollable.

It has a bitter yet harmless taste and the appearance of clear enamel. Helps break the nail biting habit and thumb sucking. Works for children (more than 3 years old) and adults. To use without or over your nail polish. Also recommended for children but not under 3 years old, as their taste buds are not fully developed and they might get used to the bitter taste.
Apply a coat over the entire nail (or polish) and allow to dry. Repeat the application every two days. Continue the treatment until nail biting is ended. Of course, before each re-application, remove Mavala Stop with Nail Polish Remover. Precaution: Never wash hands immediately after application.
Ethyl Acetate, Butyl Ester of PVM/MA Copolymer, Isopropyl Alcohol, Adipic Acid/Neopentyl Glycol/Trimellitic Anhydride Copolymer, N-Butyl Alcohol, Butyl Acetate, Alcohol Denat., Denatonium Benzoate, Acetyl Tributyl Citrate, Isopropyl Acetate, Benzophenone-3, Water (Aqua), Violet 2 (CI 60725).

    Comments about Mavala Stop:

This is the third product I've tried in order to get my 3 year old to stop biting his nails and this is the first product where he actually seemed to shy away from the taste. Although we have only been using it for a week, he already has decreased the rate of how often he bites his fingernails. I'm hoping this will help rid us of the issue, but only time will tell.

It is just like the regular nail polish but once it is on it last a long time and the taste is still there even if you have taken a shower or have been in the ocean and it will always remind you to not bite your nails

I found myself to have extremely terrible nails from biting them for years. This product saved my nails. I was never confident in showing off my hands because I never wanted people to see my nails. If you've lost all hope definitely buy this product you won't regret it.

I have been biting my nails for 18 years and I finally got sick of it because of how dirty hands are so I had to take action. SO I tried a ton of no bite polishes that I would just get used to and chew anyway but this stuff is so awful I actually have to spit and eat something go get the taste out. Its not so great with finger foods but its worth it in the long run

I used this product for myself and my toddler because he bites his nails. For me it was very effective because the nasty taste was in my fingers and nails everytime I wanted to bite them. For my toddler though it was effective but he couldn't eat finger food because the taste was in his fingers and he wanted to throw up. Overall, it's a great product.

worked GREAT for my 4 year old daughter! (a thumb sucker since 3 months old) It was suggested by her dentist to finally put a stop to the habit, to avoid it developing into her youth and teenage years! My sister saw this product in her dentist office, and after reading reviews, I had to try it out! It was a first rough week for my littleone, but after that tough week, she has not sucked her thumb! I am so proud of her, and I remind her what a big girl she is now. I still apply the product, only to avoid a "relapse", since there is plenty still in the bottle - a little goes a long way :)
