Been using heat curlers for 40 yrs. I have straight hair & these take the edge off & gives hair a little bounce. Have worn out many sets through the years. Can't image getting ready without curlers.

Sooo disappointed in this product...velvety rollers do not grip hair...clips so big that when trying to apply next roller, the clip would knock off roller behind or in front. Conair, did you even test these out before putting them in stores?

Yes, before plugging in the hairsetter, fill the removable reservoir with tap water to the fill line. Remove one of the rollers and place the reservoir on the heating post. (Do not remove the roller with the ready dot). Close lid and plug hairsetter cord into a standard household outlet. When the ready dot on the roller turns transparent white, and slight steam and water beads appear on the lid, the rollers are ready to use.

The steam reservoir is included. The steam reservoir is a piece that can be placed in any of the spots that the curlers sit. In other words, you will have to remove one roller to place the steamer in the unit.
