Comments about Japonesque Velvet Touch Eye Brush Set:

This product was a last minute cheap purchase because I needed a low-cost blending brush. However, the fibers on these brushes are not good for individuals with sensitive skin. The bristles are rough and irritates my eyelids. Can't complain much for the cost though.

I do not like these brushes at all! They are so rough and dont blend at all, in fact they just seem to really fade my eye shadows as if i hadnt even put any product on. Will not buy brushes from this line again

            So scratchy

Comments about Japonesque Velvet Touch Eye Brush Set:

The only usable brush in this set is the angle brush, but it doesn't even work very well. These brushes are so terribly scratchy. Don't bother.

Comments about Japonesque Velvet Touch Eye Brush Set:

One of my worst Ulta purchases. These brushes are scratchy and unpleasant to use. The only positive I can say is the angled liner brush is very stiff and creates a smooth line when applying eyeliner. The rest are about as good as the brushes that come with kids' makeup sets at the dollar store.

Comments about Japonesque Velvet Touch Eye Brush Set:

The short rounded brush is very soft and dense and has worked well for me. The angled brush is alright; not thin enough to make a precise cat eye or for gel liner, but very soft and nice for using eyeshadow as a subtle liner.

The two fluffier blending brushes are straight up terrible, though. They felt soft on my hand, but are incredibly rough on my eyelid. It feels like they are scratching my skin, and I worry that a brush that rough will pull the skin and lead to wrinkles. They also shed like crazy and leave bits of black fibers all over my face.

I definitely wouldn't repurchase these, since 50% of the set is unusable for me.

I previously made a review on this product however, after trying the brushes again, I realized that these brushes are terrible. They hurt on my eyes, and they SHED like no other. I would not recommend these brushes to anyone.

Comments about Japonesque Velvet Touch Eye Brush Set:

I purchased these brushes on the Cyber Monday sale. I LOVED the fullness of the brushes, but they were not 100% soft. They irritated and scratched my eyelids, and I, sadly, had to return them as a result.
