BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base is a liquid-to-powder blurring primer that instantly vanishes the appearance of pores, fine lines and imperfections. The feather-light formula leaves skin porcelain smooth with an airbrushed finish. This is your holy grail primer - not only does your makeup look better, it lasts longer. The ultimate primer for a long-lasting, airbrushed complexion. The brightening, apricot-hued formula is infused with pore-blurring powders that float over skin to diffuse light for a velvety smooth, soft focus finish. Oil-free yet hydrating, the primer helps absorb the appearance of excess oil and extend the wear of makeup keeping your look fresh and flawless throughout the day. This formula turns from lightweight liquid to powdered perfection in seconds.

Infused with sodium hyaluronate to help keep skin hydrated, antioxidant rich vitamin C and E, and soft-focus blurring powders to help absorb the appearance of excess oil. Works on all skin tones and skin types.

In a consumer study,* after use of Velvet Blurring Primer individuals agree that:
  • Makeup application was smoother
  • Makeup went on more evenly
  • Skin feels smoother
  • Skin looks smoother

*Consumer study of 30 individuals.
Shake well before use. Apply to clean dry skin as a primer or wear alone as a complexion blurring perfector. If applying after moisturizer, wait for moisturizer to fully absorb before applying the primer.

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

I tried it on my hand in the store and couldn't believe it, so I had to buy it. When I used it for the first time I looked like I was 18 and haven't been stressed for the past 6 years trying to get my bachelors and master degrees. It looks great even if you don't wear anything over it! I will be buying this again!

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

Maybe it's my skin, but this primer didn't even work with the Becca foundation I bought (Aqualuminous). I had to return it. I've had so many letdowns with primers, and this is another dud.

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

I use this product after applying moisturizer, and before applying foundation. This primer is amazing! I use full coverage foundation, and I hate using a thick primer as well. This primer is more of a liquid than a cream, but it makes your skin so soft! It's easy to apply, and makes your skin so smooth. I have oily skin, and it seems to not make a difference with my skin! I have acne prone skin as well, and I haven't had any breakouts since using it! I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting something light and smooth as a primer.

Skip. Don't waste your time or money. It leaves a white cast, doesn't play well with most foundations, clumps up & leaves little white balls when you try to blend it out. Returned with the quickness

Foundation glides on and stays all day. Does make skin appear smoother. Only drawback is it tends to clump on some areas and the pump is difficult to distribute the right amount. You have to wash your fingers after applying a small amount to prevent clumping.

This product dried so quickly you had to work it out on your face very fast! It also made my foundation apply patchy and pilled up into little balls when applying it.

Comments about BECCA Velvet Blurring Primer Perfecting Base:

When I was sent this product complimentary test and review, I had a hunch it was going to be a win-win situation! I have other Becca products and they just work so well with my skin. This primer is exactly what my skin needs - it's light, blends easy with my skin tone, and reduces fine lines and pores, especially in my forehead. The texture is very light, it almost feels like a powder, but it evens quickly and without feeling too cakey. I recently wore it while on vacation in Florida, and it worked very well with humidity and stayed put. I am not a big fan of too much coverage, so I use this as my foundation sometimes and simply apply highlighter to my cheekbones. This primer works very well when used with the Becca One Perfecting Brush!
