Please bring back the old formula for UV Plus SPF 40. So many of us have sensitive skin and are allergic to the chemicals in the new formulation. We want to remain loyal customers; please help us. We will be forever grateful.

Such a great sunscreen and one of my all-time favorite Clarins products. It's so light that even after my essence, serum, and moisturizer it still doesn't feel cakey I also love that it has the pollution protection too, since I live in a large city.

Comments about Clarins UV Plus Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Multi-Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

I have been using the Clarins SPF 40 for over 10 years. I LOVED it so much. It didn't smell like sunscreen, it wasn't overly perfume scented, it was not a bit greasy and didn't leave a gray film on my face when it was rubbed in. Recently I re-ordered and got the SPF 50 instead it is totally different, changed for the worse. One, it is highly scented, to the point where it interferes with my daily perfume and so strong that it makes it impossible to wear during exercise because I'm literally choking on the fumes. It also seems greasy and is not good for under make up like the old stuff was and it definitely leaves a grey hue to your face. It feels cheap and low quality, not like a Clarins product. .

This completely non-greasy sunscreen, applied to the face is very thin, very comfortable, very suitable for use throughout the year.

          Bring back OLD FORMULA!

          By MelN

          from Chicago, IL, USA

Comments about Clarins UV Plus Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Multi-Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

I love the old formula so much! I have been using this product (OLD FORMULA) for years after I discovered that I am allergic to chemical sunscreen. SPF 40 is good enough for all occasions for me, light texture but effective, even protected me from the tropical beach sunlight. After reading some reviews saying the new formula added chemical sunscreen ingredients, I cautiously tried the new version (I got a deluxe sample from a set) on the back of my hand. Like all other chemical sunscreens, it caused rashes all over the area I tried :( Now I am using up my last bottle of the old formula one, I don't know what sunscreen to use in the future... Clarins, please, please, please at least give poor people with sensitive skin like me an option by bring back the pure physical sunscreen!

Not using Clarins now the formula has changes

Comments about Clarins UV Plus Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Multi-Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

I used the Clarins Mineral 40 UV Plus for over seven years. Seven years of daily use. Repurchasing. Singing its praise. Getting a friend hooked on it...then the formula changed and in order to boost the SPF to 50, you added chemical sunscreen. The 40 was amazing. The scent was pretty and light and didn't have that chemical smell to it. I cannot use chemical sunscreens, because, and I know this sounds odd, they cause part of my tongue and fingertips numb. The 50 did that to me. Never an issue with the 40. I have been hunting high and low for a sunscreen to replace the Clarins 40. Nothing compares, so too be honest, since my last bottle of 40 ran out, I depend only on my CC cream for sun protection. Sad. There should be the option of 40 chemical-free sunscreen in addition to this 50 if you're so insistent on keeping this new formula.

Comments about Clarins UV Plus Anti-Pollution Sunscreen Multi-Protection Broad Spectrum SPF 50:

I hate sunscreens but am absolutely OCD about wearing them. I have acne-prone skin that is definitely combo skin...very oily through the t-zone and almost dry everywhere else. After making my way through every drugstore brand, organic brand, and a very few department store brands I decided to try Clarins again...I used to use this several years ago back when it was still SPF 30! I hate spending this much money but, well, it IS my face we're talking about and Neutrogena and Aveeno just weren't cutting it. What a surprise! Yes, slightly disappointed that this is a combo-blend sunscreen....I do prefer my physical blockers, but titanium dioxide IS the key ingredient (wish there could have been some zinc in there though) and the chemical blockers Clarins uses are of the least "toxic" variety. I'm almost hesitant to dare say that....my skin is clearing up since wearing this sunscreen! It wears well under my Tarte foundation and powder and I don't need an additional moisturizer. I will start saving my spare change and cut back on the lattes in order to continue buying this fantastic product!

Why change the formula? Change the print.

I've used this product for 13 years, I have notice the change, I don't live it, but it's still a good product. What I really hate is the red print on the bottle. This product lasts me a long time (about 3 months)even tho I use it everyday, that's great right, ok then why does the red lettering on the bottle starts rubbing off from the bottle and on to my face after the first month? I HATE IT. Specially on the days I don't wear any makeup. I go about my day with red letters on my face. Agh!!!! That's what needs change, the formula was perfect.
