Comments about Lorac Unzipped Ocean Sunset Palette:

Lorac eyeshadows are my favorite eyeshadows to use- they blend like a dream and the shadows are creamy and pigmented. I was so excited to pick up the 3 new unzipped palettes and unfortunately, this just didn't really live up to the expectation I had. First, I have to talk about the packaging. Its horrible. The lid bends where the lines are on the top and it just feels weak and unsupported and frankly, cheap. I'm disappointed that there isn't a mirror, maybe that would help support the top lid. The shadows themselves are nice and the usual lorac formula but my issue with it is that I cannot make a complete look with just this palette (unlike the fabulous pro palettes) There isn't a matte cream/nude shade to use to start a look off and there really isn't any good transition color- I found the matte brown to be a little too dark for a everyday/natural crease. The mauves are really pretty as a transition but you can't use that for an everyday look, more like a once in a while sunset eye. Overall, this palette is a good one if its easy for you to supplement it with different eyeshadows/palettes to complete a full look otherwise you might want to pass on this one.

Comments about Lorac Unzipped Ocean Sunset Palette:

I was on the fence about these new unzipped sunset series because i couldn't decide which one I liked best. I ended up choosing two. Ocean and Mountain. Both are gorgeous, but I'm in love with the salt water shade from the ocean palette. Yes it's sheer, yes you could describe it as glittery, but i use my finger to press this onto the lid and it's such a nice effect. I'm no expert and only really occasionally wear makeup, but I really enjoy this palette and am now looking into the other unzipped palettes (the original and gold) because this formula is easy for me to work with.

I used it this morning and my hazel eyes are popping. definitely worth it, I can't emphasize how much I love this palette. I think in gonna grab the mountain sunset next, or maybe all of them, LOL

    I like it

Comments about Lorac Unzipped Ocean Sunset Palette:

Pretty colors, it seems like the formula is a little more on the dry side, but I really notice it in the shimmers. I had to apply the color saltwater with my finger to get it to show up (which isn't a big deal) and then even after that I still had to keep going back in and work with it to get it to be as vibrant. Maybe try a glitter glue.

Comments about Lorac Unzipped Ocean Sunset Palette:

The product practically blends itself and would be great for a beginner. The shades are rich in pigment, my favorite being the pink shades. There is a small bit of kickback when you dip your brush into the pan (nothing too bad), so go in with a light hand. The matte shades are definitely the star of the palette and are SO flattering on the eye. The shimmer shades apply best with a wet brush. The green and white shimmers are rather sheer, which had me disappointed. I was able to fix this by layering the shadow and using it wet. The shades wear well with little fallout and fade. I used it without an eyeshadow primer and it lasted me around 12 hours. The palette comes with a primer though, and it makes it wear even longer. The formula cooperated well with my sensitive, dry eyelids. Overall, a worthy buy!

Comments about Lorac Unzipped Ocean Sunset Palette:

I was ecstatic to buy this pallete because of how great my two unzipped palletes are. I purchased this particular pallete because of how gorgeous Salt Water looked. I was very disappointed in Mother of Pearl and Salt Water because they are chalky and too glittery (no pigmentation at all). They're very sheer. The rest of the eyeshadows are highly pigmented and buttery. Sadly, I returned this pallete :(

Comments about Lorac Unzipped Ocean Sunset Palette:

Loved the original Unzipped palette so definitely wanted to give this one a try and I'm so glad I did. I would of preferred another matte or two (there's only 3) but it's still nice. Gorgeous colors, nicely pigmented, and blends easily.
