Comments about First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream:

I tried this and it was ok. In the morning I could still feel it on my skin. My skin felt greasy as if it didn't absorb well. I saw great reviews, but this didn't work well for me. I have oily skin in the t-zone and normal elsewhere.

Miracle for dry skin!!

By Rachel

from Keizer, OR

Comments about First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream:

I have had the worst dry skin this winter and have tried countless moisturizers, but nothing worked. I decided to try this out after reading reviews and I am glad I did. It was hydrating from the moment I put it on. When I woke up, my skin was soft with not one single patch of dry skin.

Just as a side note, I have normal to dry skin with few breakouts.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream:

I'm in my 40s and had never used a night cream before. I figured it was about time I invested in my skin at night (after all, I use sunscreen and moisturize in the morning). A salesperson said that this brand was super popular and flying off the shelves (back several years ago when it was a new product in the store). Three jars later and I STILL LOVE IT!!! It absorbs quickly, and my oily skin never feels greasy in the morning. It's unscented, which is an added bonus. My skin looks great, and I love how it feels in the morning. I tried other cheaper brands to save money, but they either leave my face oily or have weird smells. Since a little goes a long way, it's worth the purchase. I'll never use anything else.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream:

This is the best moisturizer I've ever found, hands down. My skin loves this stuff! I just purchased my second jar, the first lasted for about five months. Product has no fragrance, goes on smoothly, moisturizes really well, and has the bonus effect of smoothing away fine wrinkles on face and neck and upper chest. It's a wonderful product. I also use their facial cleanser and eye moisturizer, and all of them last a long time and are priced very reasonably compared to many others.

I try to use new products for at least one week before I give up on them, unfortunately this cream made me break out so bad I had to give up after three days! It is very thick and heavy. I have combination/sensitive skin so I didn't think too much about the consistency. It seems this cream would be much better for someone with super dry skin. I will be returning it and trying something else.

I use it over my night serum, it has a pretty thick consistency but doesn't take much effort to blend it out seamlessly. Skin feels hydrated and refreshed after using it.

How does this compare to ultra repair cream? texture? absorbability? thickness? scent?

                      A:

Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream is a much thicker texture than Ultra Repair Cream. The products are similarly absorbed. Ultra Repair Cream has a natural eucalyptus scent derived from essential oils, where as Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream is naturally fragrance-free.

I have combination skin usually but very dry currently due to use of acne medications at night (salicylic acid face wash) and the colder weather. Would I benefit from this cream at night after my acne wash to remove the right dry feeling?

We do not recommend using Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream under the eye area. If you are looking for an eye solution, we suggest using Eye Duty Triple Remedy AM Gel Cream during the day and Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm at night.

                      A:

You described yourself as "very oily" therefore we would not recommend the Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream. To help with the first signs of aging that you may be experiencing we recommend the Facial Radiance Overnight Mask as your night time moisturizer. For your anti-aging eye care needs we recommend Eye Duty Triple Remedy AM Gel Cream in the morning and Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm for your night time routine.

The Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream is a richer texture that is not recommended for the delicate thin skin around eye area. If you are experiencing a dry orbital eye area, we recommend using the Eye Duty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm, which can be used on the entire eye area including the lid.

The Ultra Repair Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream is highly recommended for nighttime use when your skin is in repair mode. Yes, you may use it on your neck and décolleté.
