Comments about First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream:

I had been looking for a good face cream for a while. After a lot of research and talking to a consultant at Ulta I decided to try the Ultra Repair Cream. I have great skin, but in the winter my skin gets super dry. Everything started out fine, but 2 weeks in to using this I noticed my skin was drying out worse. I thought maybe I wasn't using it enough. 3 weeks in to using this and my skin was an absolute mess. I woke up one morning with huge red, scaly spots all over my face. It hurt to wash my face. It itches and 3 days later it's still not getting any better. I really wanted this stuff to work, but unfortunately I must be allergic to it or something.

Comments about First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream:

A few months ago, suddenly I developed a very dry, flakey upper lip (mustache region). It was often painful and uncomfortable, and even with strong exfoliation and applying moisturizer and Lanolin (which did help a bit), I couldn't keep the dryness at bay for more than a few hours.

I love wearing lipstick, and I hadn't been able to any more because the dryness would ruin the look in a few hours, and was very embarrassing to deal with. I rarely even wore foundation anymore because it would eventually flake up. I had never had eczema before, but I am pretty sure I suddenly developed a patch since my skin was otherwise easy to manage and the dry patch was extremely persistent. This product finally kept the dryness at bay, and my upper lip hasn't been patchy and hideous since I started using it. I am so happy and feel so much better.

Initially got this as a sample and LOVED it. My skin (especially my face) has been so dry this winter and it really helped! The canister I bought, however, does not seem quite as think as the sample was which is a bummer but still works good.

We recommend starting with FAB Face Cleanser, which is gentle yet effective cleanser. Next, exfoliate and tone skin with FAB Facial Radiance Pads. Finally, hydrate with a lightweight moisturizer, such as Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer.

Would this cream be okay for someone that has sensitive acne prone skin? My skin just feels horrible and I've tried so many moisterizers that don't do anything for my skin. I'm afraid this would just break me out too.

                    A:

Ultra Repair Cream® can be used from head to toe and is ideal to combat dry skin conditions. Ultra Repair® Hydra-Firm Sleeping Cream is an anti-aging facial moisturizer which includes a powerful peptide blend to help support natural collagen production and smooth the appearance of lines and wrinkles while moisturizing the skin. Both are effective moisturizers for combination skin, but if you are also looking for anti-aging benefits, we would recommend the Sleeping Cream.
