This product was awful. Definitely do not recommend purchasing! I did not expect amazing results considering it was less than $40, however the rollers did absolutely nothing. My hair was as straight as it was before even using them.

Rollers are great; the pins, not so much.

Comments about Conair More Big Curls Hairsetter:

I bought this for my mom, who has fine hair with absolutely no texture. She loves the results she gets with these. The only negative is that the pins that are supposed to hold the rollers in place don't really do anything. We ended up getting some claw clips that are big enough to clip around the rollers, and those worked great. These are super affordable, and if you get creative with securing them, they create really fabulous results.

I have the Conair More Big Curls Model CHV12NR. It is new, never used and no box or instructions. Where do you put the water for steam and how much water do you use?

                    A:

Before plugging in the hairsetter, fill the removable reservoir with tap water to the fill line. Remove one of the rollers and place the reservoir on the heating post. (Do not remove the roller with the ready dot). Close lid and plug hairsetter cord into a standard household outlet. When the ready dot on the roller turns transparent white, and slight steam and water beads appear on the lid, the rollers are ready to use.

The steam reservoir is included. The steam reservoir is a piece that can be placed in any of the spots that the curlers sit. In other words, you will have to remove one roller to place the steamer in the unit.
