Have bought 3 clips recently just to hold my hair up while I shower; none have held my fine hair. While this one isn't as good as some I'v had in the past, it at least does hold my hair, though not as tightly as I wish.

It holds for a very long time, and when you need to redo it, it only takes a second. It is like any other clip though, so if you can find one for cheaper get that one. This is nothing special. It doesn't hurt that much, but after a while the teeth start to dig into your scalp. It sounds a lot worse than it is :)

I went to Ulta to replace a hair clip that I had had for seriously 15 years. I ended up purchasing 2 of these. I put it on and it I could feel it on my scalp, but I thought I'd get used to it. At the end of the day, my scalp HURT. I hope to be able to return it and the one in the other color, but don't know if I can due to having thrown away the packaging.

I have very straight fine hair so it's hard for me to find clips that will hold. This product is great. I put my hair up in the morning and it doesn't fall out all day.
