I'm disappointed in this product. I have short spikey hair and have used this product purchased from my salon for years. I decided to order it from Ulta. The texture is much, much thinner that what I purchase at the salon. Makes me think this product was a reject.

They changed the formula. It still works pretty much like it did. But something was changed to make it lighter or fluffier. Poor use of words but it best describes what I have noticed. It's like air was whipped into the product to make less product fill the jar. It takes more for me to get the same effects. A jar doesn't last as long as it used to last.

I like adding for hold; the cap and cover are a little awkward to manage since the product is so sticky, so maybe creating a different packing might be useful; but I have used this product for years and like how it works. Since you only use a little, it lasts a long time..

I feel bad but, after using this product since 05' I'm looking for something new. There's something different about this now, it's very running almost like a lotion instead of a putty. The "agressive" hold, what I liked most about the product, is gone. I have short, coarse hair and this always worked like a dream.

I've used this product for years and loved it, but recently it is runnier than it should be. The last 4 jars of it could actually be poured out it was so runny. I liked it better the old way. It still works but not as well. My hairdresser said his Manipulator has not been like this, so I'm wondering if Ulta's has been stored in extreme heat or cold to cause theirs to be runny. I'm considering buying it elsewhere or changing to a different product.
