i have a short haircut that looks best with lots of piecey-ness and definition. this is the ONLY product that gives me the definition, shine, and hold WITHOUT a crunchy hard finish. my husband can run his fingers through my hair and it is soft and flexible. love, love, love this stuff. i scrape a bit off with my thumbnail, place it in my palm, warm it with the blow dryer, then rub my hands together to emulsify it til it's clear....then rub it all over my hair...in all directions. then i do it one more time, and shape the hair the way i want it.

I often use this when I'm wearing a ponytail to keep the flyaway hairs neat. It's great for African American hair use around your edges to keep kinky hair flat. It will keep your hair pretty straight until you wash it out. Pricier than most others in this category, but by far the best!

I got this hoping it would be similar to the Wen stick which I love, but this doesn't compare. I still use it to scrunch into my curls, but it's not exactly what I was looking for.

This is s great product. It works for ALL hair types whether you have long, short, thick, thin hair. I use it when i have short or long hair. Its great for a soft strong hold and good for slicking edges down too.
