Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

I've been using this product for several years. It is the only brand that is gentle on my skin. It is strong and gets just about all the hair covered with just one application. As with any DIY beauty/spa treatments, it does take a few rounds to figure out the appropriate temperature and consistency. I've used this on my bikini area, face, and underarms. I've had great results on all areas. I've never experienced and breakouts or reactions. Residue is easily removed with a little bit if oil (baby, coconut, olive have all worked for me)

Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

I have been buying this wax for almost a year now. Works great for legs and hands waxing, does the job of pulling the hair very quickly. If you have been waxing for many years by yourself this product is very good.i used to use the Nair microwave wax but now I cannot find that anywhere:(

Just a bit pricey but otherwise I will be buying this until I come across another substitute that is less costly

Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

I use this product only for coarse hair on my legs, bikini line and underarms. Greatest thing about this product is that it is easy to use it on small areas. You might need to go over an area twice depending on amount of hair, but it gets most of it on the first try (assuming you are doing it right). It comes with plenty of wax sheets that can be used more than once. It is really, really messy. It will get on your hands. And it cools really fast. I have been using warm wax for years, so I don't know how easy it will be for a beginner. But definitely follow instructions word for word.

Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

I used this wax for my legs, underarms, and bikini line and I was very impressed with the results! However, users should be warned of the stickiness of this wax which makes it very messy and tricky to handle. Some tips from my experience: (1) dont heat the wax on a plate that you plan to reuse because if any spills on plate, it makes it very difficult to clean; (2) after you smooth on the wax strip, rip off immediately - quick and no delays; (3) use the blue oil to remove any stickiness from hands and body

Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

Normally I have to wax every week. It's been 3 weeks and no growth get. I have coarse hairs on chin. Upper lip is fine to normal. Jaws and neck are combined fine and coarse. Also I'm 65. Won't take hormones. So this is my only choice. I've used Moon. Had to wax weekly. Not with this stuff. Never found a product that really worked before. This is great. Not so self conscious of hair growing overnight.

Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

I've used this product for years now, and it consistently gets the job done. The wax is quick to heat, easy to use, and is much cheaper than going to a salon for this service. Things to beware about:
    1. Keep the product upright. The wax doesn't completely harden, so if it is resting on its side and is then openened, you've got a big mess on your hands.
    2. Clear a space for when you're working with this stuff. I've spilled warmed wax twice and it makes a huge mess. IF you do spill, use the blue oil to wipe up as much as you can. I still have wax on my blow drier becuase I wasn't paying very much attention and spilled.
    3. Don't rest your popsicle sticks on the wax container. I use a strip to rest it on while waxing because the container lid is usually sticky around the rim. Clean the sticks with the blue oil when you're done to resuse them next time.
    4. If you make a mistake, say on your eyebrows, and get wax where you don't want to wax, don't panic. Wait a minute for the wax to cool and use the oil to wipe off. I've lost parts of eyebrows once or twice.
    5. Don't wax the same area twice. It will rip the top layer of skin off and cause scabs.

Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

This was my first attempt with at-home hair removal. I used this product for my underarms where I have very course dark hair. I have had this area waxed professionally many times and I was pleasantly surprised to find that this product provided very similar results! It did take two passes to remove all the hair, but that was mostly because it was difficult to see where I was applying the wax. The hairs that it did pull out were there root and all. I would highly recommend-if doing underarms-to use in front of a mirror and to have someone help you. It would have been very difficult (and likely painful) to have done this alone, since you need to pull the skin taut and pull the strip off simultaneously. I did not use the oil provided in the kit, but instead just used coconut oil and the residual wax came off just fine. My only complaint was that I had the kit in my bag on its side and when I opened it to peel off the protective seal (styrofoam-y) it was stuck to the wax and very difficult to remove. I ended up having to scrape off a lot of product just to remove the seal. Just store right side up for a while to get the wax to settle properly before opening.

      worst wax product ever

      By Silverraindropps

      from ChiTown

Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

I thought I'd try a new wax product so I purchased this one thinking it would be a great replacement. Instead I found the most ridiculously sticky product I've ever come across. I thought after I heated it up it would be better. Nope. it removed very few hair, the rest were still around but dripped in stickiness. The worst part was the next day I got a rash on the area I tried to wax. the oil that comes in the box helps with removing the stickiness but you need so much bc the wax gets everywhere because it sticks to everything. Back to Sally for me!

Comments about Parissa Warm Wax Kit:

This product is great and one purchase lasts a long time. When you factor in the cost of paying for waxing at salon, this provides the same quality and saves you considerable costs in the long run. As with anything practice makes perfect. The product assumes some level of knowledge to get the best results. Also it is not necessary to overheat this product to get the best results. READ the instructions and test the wax to ensure you don't burn yourself.
