I don't usually get bad acne, but my skin has been acting up lately. I got a hard, painful bump on my head that was growing to be quite large. I read that this product was supposed to be effective, so I bought it early one Wednesday morning. By that Friday night, the blemish was barely noticeable and today (Sunday) it's completely gone! I've never used something so effective. Great buy, even for my sensitive skin!

This is great stuff. For me it works well in conjunction with Neutrogena 2% salicylic acid acne wash AND Neutrogena acne defense cream (also with 2% salicylic acid). I cleanse first, use the benzoyl peroxide and then defense cream. I have had, and will have, oily, acne-prone skin my whole life since puberty (I am now 36). I can prevent most of my acne with this regimen.

As a 40 year old who still gets acne, this product has always worked effectively. This product contains benzoyl peroxide which works much better on my face than products with salicylic acid.

I am 55 years old and every once in awhile my face feels the need to do the adult acne thing. Usually on my chin,and this is the best product I have ever tried. I never had pimples as a teenager so this was new to me. Use this-Neutrogena got this one so right for adult acne!

I tried this product on the recommendation from a top makeup artist on youtoube and from the guy that started acne.com - ok they don't specifically recommend THIS product but they recommend 2.5% benzol peroxide, which is the active ingredient. After struggling with cystic acne for years this has been one of the only products that has worked, especially if you have found that sylacidic acid does not work for you, don't keep trying it in different products! There are a whole lot more SA acne products than BP which is why I think I struggled with acne for so long, give this stuff a try its cheap!
