I just bought this and love it! I have medium length hair. I love the volume. I also use a smaller one to give me some curls in places, but use this all over. Need to make sure your ends are in barrel. Give it a chance and just play with it.

Comments about T3 BodyWaver 1.75"" Styling Iron:

I purchased because I wanted big, loose, tousled waves with lots of body without having to take the time to use hot rollers. I thought that would be easy to achieve, being big and loose, so I thought bigger was better with curling iron barrels. I decided to try this big barreled, 1 3/4" T3 Bodywaver because it seemed the most versatile for smoothing out the hair and creating the hairstyle I desired. After I first tried it, I thought I had made a big mistake in purchasing this. I had problems with my ends and random parts of my hair getting ugly crimps, and I could only get my hair to flip out even though I was rolling the length of my hair on the barrel. I became frustrated at not being able to achieve the variety of looks shown on the bottom of the product's box. I watched Youtube videos about using the T3 Bodywaver, specifically to figure out how to create curls/waves in the hair instead of mere flips. None of them were really all that helpful, until I watched a random video which emphasized scrunching the hair after unwinding it from the curling iron and spraying the hair with hair spray. I learned that what I should have been doing was setting the waves by keeping the ironed hair in a spiral shape by scrunching it from the ends to the scalp and holding it that way until it cools down, spraying it once or twice while doing so. Also, rolling out the hair makes the hair shiny, and keeping the ends tucked inside the clamp avoids crimps. It took some time to do this to every hair section, but it worked, and the results were well worth it! If you do get this, try these tips for heatstyled hair that lasts.

If your looking for a curling iron, don't buy this. It is intended to make loose waves and add volume. I use this every day and haven't had any issues.....I absolutely love it and would recommend to anyone with long hair.

Comments about T3 BodyWaver 1.75"" Styling Iron:

After using this iron on a daily basis for the past month, I finally feel I can give an accurate description of its performance.

To start, as its name implies, this iron is NOT made for curls. If you're looking for obvious tight curls, this is NOT for you. If you have short or medium length hair, this may not be for you neither. The purpose of this iron is to give you loose waves and add more volume.

The first time I saw this iron, I deemed it the Apple of curling irons. It's white, clean, and so beautifully made.

When I first started, I had a few issues.

                1. I noticed my hair was having a hard time holding the waves. I would leave the house looking great but a few hours later, my hair was limp. Trying it on dirty hair didn't help. The hair was too heavy and flattened the waves out even faster. I'm not sure what the problem was, whether it's the texture of my hair (black long Asian hair) or the fact the curls/waves are so large to begin with. I've successfully tackled this problem by only curling fresh fluffy hair. After I shower, I spray my hair with a heat protectant spray and curl spray. I then proceed to blow drying and curling. I finish my hair with a strong hairspray. Currently I'm using Bed Head Maxxed Out. This has been working great and my curls are lasting all day!

                2. The clamp left crimps by the ends of my hair. I fixed this by always ensuring to curl with the clamp facing up, not down, and rolling the barrel away from my face.

                3. I also noticed my hair had developed a burnt smell. So I dialed down the temperature by half, and surprisingly the iron still curls like it did at max temp!

So ladies, before you pack it up for return, be patient and give it a chance. This iron has the potential to creat such beautiful hair, you just need to bring it out. Now I get compliments everywhere I go. Hope this helps!
