Great Color Match

By chef m

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

I have a yellow/olive tone to my skin and have tried tons of different foundations (powder, liquid and cream) and they all have looked orange or pink on my skin. This matches my skin perfectly! The coverage is great, but looks natural and doesn't get valet or stuck in creases or lines. I use this product over the Tarte bb cream for flawless finish!

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

I have had issues finding the perfect makeup, for I have acne and I was embarrassed by the redness, and on top of it I have fair skin which is hard with most products for me turn orange. But with this I feel confident! It's so lightweight, not orange, and makes my skin feel great, even on hot days. For a person who's been struggling with these issues, this product is the answer! Definitely purchasing again and again

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

I have been looking for a foundation that really covers acne scars and redness on my face. After trying numerous brands, I went to Ulta and consulted with an employee.

My skin is very sensitive and can get oily very fast, I stay away from products with oil and that feel heavy. The powder is very lightweight and controls my oil/shine. I love this product and bought the brush suggested for it. It blends very nicely.

Even though this is a bit pricey, it will last a long time. I can be confidently that this will do the job and not waste money on other products.

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

This by far beats any other mineral powder I've tried. So easy to apply and not messy. I have combination skin, with any other foundation it would get very oily by the end of the day and with this it doesn't get oily at all. Will never buy another type of foundation as long as this is available.

              orange :(

              By Emmy

              from Michigan

Comments about Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation:

This product was nice at first, I really like how it feels very light, however this turned into an orange color on my face and was quite streaky I even bought the brush that goes with it (which I like) the powder also has a bit of shimmer so if you want to stay matte stay away from this, it didn't seem to last long and I was oily but not horribly oily after a few hours. If it didn't turn orange I might still use it but it also doesn't have any SPF so my search for the perfect powder continues....I had purchased the fair with neutral undertones

I use my own quality powder brushes just fine with it. I buff for blended coverage, and use a flat concealer brush for blemish coverage. I also use under the eyes.
For drier skin: make sure to prep with moisturizer and primer

While Tarte does not perform specific testing to claim non-comedogenic, all Tarte products are tested under dermatological control and thus not associated with causing any clinically significant skin irritations. In addition to being dermatologist tested, the Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Airbrush Foundation formula is formulated without parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate or gluten.

This foundation is not SPF-rated. We recommend using a sunscreen or moisturizer with sun protection underneath your foundation.
