I love this product! My hair doesn't hold curl well, but with the beachwaver, the waves still look great, even after I've slept on them! It is super easy to use and provides gorgeous waves! I receive compliments on my hair every time I use it! Highly recommend!!!

This is the first review I have ever wrote. I had to because I'm in love with this beachwaver! I have tried every tool possible to get curly hair without prevail. I have naturally straight hair that holds a curl for up to two hours then goes flat. With this, my curls last all day long. I'm in love!

Seriously the easiest/ fastest curling iron I've ever used. I recommend for anyone, but especially people like me who's hair doesn't hold a curl. With this iron my curls look the same three days later! Love love love.

Wow, this thing really does what it says. I honestly thought I'd return it but it has turned out to be great.

I have really long, coarse asian hair and I love the wavy look that's so popular now. I've spent time and money looking at different irons and curlers and this by far is the best. A lot of hot rollers make my hair look good for about 2-3 hours but inevitably the rollers are never hot enough and my hair falls. The Beachwaver can get up to 450 degrees, so not only does it curl quickly, the curls lasted me all day at work and going out to dinner afterwards.

There's just one drawback to having the waver get so hot, I did burn my fingers twice and a small part of my ear. I think once I learn and master how to use it, it will be no problem. Unfortunately the buttons in the middle are a little awkwardly placed and this contributed to me burning myself. I accidentally hit the spin button while I was paused and got it too close to my ear.

Overall, this is a great curling iron and I'm pleasantly surprised at how well it works. I'd definitely recommend it, especially if you have hard to curl (or retain curl) hair!

                Comments about Sarah Potempa Beachwaver:

This is the first curling iron I've ever owned as I have religiously flat ironed my hair for over 10 years, and then went to a salon anytime I wanted waves or a blow out. No more professional blowouts for me as this makes doing my hair at home, and getting the same blowout results, so easy. I have been using the iron for about a month now, and I have never consistently gotten so many compliments on my hair. It gives me the exact beach waves that I have been wanting but did not know how to get.

There is a learning curve with this iron, but after 3-4 uses, I am getting much more efficient at using it. (Note that I read a ton of reviews and watched a lot of tutorial videos before purchasing and using for the first time.) I have thick hair, and a lot of it, that is naturally curly/wavy. To describe the length, it hits just above my chest and has long layers. It takes me about 10 minutes to blow dry my hair and 40 minutes to curl, so I only do my hair 2-3 a week. The curls LAST for days with the products I use, and I can touch up the strands that frame my face in just a couple minutes if I have to.

When I purchased this, since I was already splurging, I also purchased the same brand's Prep It comb and derby clips, which I highly recommend as well for making the curling process a breeze.

Money saving tips: hold out until it goes on sale (not sure how often that is) and/or until you have a 20% coupon, and use those Ulta rewards that you have been saving up. I also purchased this through the Bank of America WorldPoints Mall, which gave me 4x the amount of credit card points for the purchase than if I bought it at the store or just through the website alone. Add free shipping and the Reward points you'll get from Ulta and on your credit card, and then you won't feel so bad about paying so much for a dang curling iron (even though it is worth every penny).

I loved my beachwaver but after about 30 uses over a period of 1 1/2 years the product stopped working. I contacted the company for help. Considering the price, I wanted to see if they would help me or try to replace it...They offered me a new one pretty much at full price. I was disappointed because it is an investment.

                    Comments about Sarah Potempa Beachwaver:

I've had my Sarah Potempa Beachwaver for over two years now and it is still my favorite beauty product I've ever bought. It's the easiest curling iron you'll ever use. I have thin, straight hair that usually never holds a style, but with the beachwaver, my curls/waves are in tact until I wash my hair. It's seriously that good. I've tried the beachwaver on all of my friends and it works on all of their different hair type, cuts, styles and lengths. Two of my friends have bought the beachwaver too, after I had them try mine. It is super easy to use and I'm still finding little tricks to make my hair look better each time. Different heat settings and different widths of sections of hair you do at a time will produce different looks.. tight ringlets, loose waves, etc.

The Beachwaver was a God send to me! I am terrible at curling my own hair. But this makes me look like I just stepped out of the salon with my beautiful waves! It's very pricey, but well worth it. You will not regret it!!!

                        Comments about Sarah Potempa Beachwaver:

I have never written a review before but this product was just SO AMAZING that I needed to tell anyone and everyone about it! My BFF, K, recommended it and at first I was skeptical about spending $200 on 'just another curling iron'. One night, I watched her get ready with it and saw how easy it was (her hair always looks amazing but she literally did it in 7 minutes!) The next day I went out and bought my very own! Now let me tell you a little about me: 1) I have very very thick hair 2) I don't know how to curl my hair or how to use curling irons 3) my hair is in a bun 99.9% of the time as a result. Well I was having date night with my husband and finally tried my Beachwaver. The results BLEW ME AWAY. It was so easy to use! It literally curled my hair itself, my hands just held it! The curls looked gorgeous and I'm on day 3 today and my hair is beautifully wavy and just perfect!
This product is totally worth the splurge!! If you're like me who loves pretty hair but doesn't know what she's doing, this is for YOU.

This styling tool is probably the best thing out there right now. I have been wearing my hair the same way for about 7 years now and am happy to say that with the Beachwaver I am able to try all different types of curly styles, I love the easy going wave it gives my hair and after a couple trial runs it becomes incredibly easy to use and I can curl my whole head in about 10 minutes. Love it!!!
