The Body Shop Difference: Community trade chamomile has been used for centuries for its soothing, calming and relaxing benefits.
How it works:
Special encapsulation technology allows bursts of active fragrance to be released throughout the night as your body moves.
Jujube date is considered to promote deeper sleep, while Community Trade chamomile calms and helps to maintain a restful sleep.
Geranium, juniper and patchouli oils soothe and promote tranquility.
The Body Shop's Community Trade program sources chamomile oil from a co-operative of small-scale farmers in Norfolk, England, an area that has been facing declining incomes and employment opportunities. Their trade with Norfolk Essential Oils has helped give a new life to a community that was under threat, by generating jobs and providing a new and important source of income. The methods used by the co-op also ensure the environmental quality of the area, and support local wildlife.
