Comments about Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Dark Spot Correcting:

I use LG Balance and Brightener. I am 50 yrs old and have been reading the hype on CC cream. I wasn't sure what brand to use, I was hoping I could get done guidance from an associate. All of them were at the front counter chatting.mAfter almost practically leaving an associate directed me to this product. I gave it a try, but it was very thick, it didn't last all day and ultimately left my face extremely greasy causing breakouts. This was returned.

Comments about Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Dark Spot Correcting:

You can tell when you sample the product that it IS high quality -- it has a creamy, light texture which seems really promising, much different than drugstore brands. However, it makes me break out!
I'm 20 and my complexion problems are mostly just rosy cheeks, not so much dark spots, so maybe that's why I'm disappointed. For me, it didn't really do anything that it was supposed to. Right now, I put it on under my eyes since they're the only dark spots on my face, but I also wear concealer on top.
I wouldn't recommend this product to young people, but I can see it working better for older women. I might give it to my mom.

                        • Q:

I want a full coverage when I work in the evening. So decided to buy the CC cream.
Now, I know it has a primer in it, but, can I use a primer with it and a foundation?
And what is the ORDER in which a cc/bb cream can be used with primer & foundation?
I work in the entertainment industry and my foundation seems to disappear even when I use primer, powder and a setting spray.
Ugh...too frustrating. After I drive to work and look in mirror, I need to add powder, blush etc...

                            A:

Because CC Cream has a built-in primer, we do not recommend using an additional primer; too much primer may cause a "pilling" (or flaking) effect. But you can absolutely use a foundation over CC Cream for additional coverage! CC Cream will help to extend the wear of any makeup you apply over top.

Both CC Cream and BB Cream feature oil control properties and are formulated for all skin types, so either would be a great choice for oily/combination skin! If dark spots/hyperpigmentation is a skin concern, we recommend CC Cream, as it will help to fade dark spots over time.
