great coverage, but still light. Goes on smooth, matte, hydrating and so much more. doesn't cover dark spots as much as i thought but a great product. I wear it by itself on weekends but during the week for work, i like more coverage so i use this as a base to my foundation. One of those things that i don't want to be without in the future FOR SURE

Comments about Smashbox Camera Ready CC Cream Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Dark Spot Correcting:

I use this everyday as my foundation. I use a concealer on my pimples and dark spots and it covers well and makes me look like I'm glowing. You'll have to use a bit more if you want really good coverage. I get pretty oily by day's end, but it seems to stay put throughout my workday and it doesn't seem to make me any more oily than before I began using it. If you're not looking for the super heavy made up look, then you'll like this.

So, I am getting to the age where I need something that has a little more to offer as far as coverage. I have noticed some darkening and perhaps a few age spots (horrors). Went to the local Ulta and this seemed to fit the bill. It has a little thicker texture than other CC products, but doesn't have a heavy feel once applied. You can use with or without moisturizer and it looks great either way. I have tried a few other similar products, but this is my go to.

Light is slightly warmer-toned and more golden than Light/Neutral. We suggest viewing and testing the shades at your nearest ULTA Beauty store:

I want a full coverage when I work in the evening. So decided to buy the CC cream.
Now, I know it has a primer in it, but, can I use a primer with it and a foundation?
And what is the ORDER in which a cc/bb cream can be used with primer & foundation?
I work in the entertainment industry and my foundation seems to disappear even when I use primer, powder and a setting spray.
Ugh...too frustrating. After I drive to work and look in mirror, I need to add powder, blush etc...

                        A:

Because CC Cream has a built-in primer, we do not recommend using an additional primer; too much primer may cause a "pilling" (or flaking) effect. But you can absolutely use a foundation over CC Cream for additional coverage! CC Cream will help to extend the wear of any makeup you apply over top.

                        A:

Both CC Cream and BB Cream feature oil control properties and are formulated for all skin types, so either would be a great choice for oily/combination skin! If dark spots/hyperpigmentation is a skin concern, we recommend CC Cream, as it will help to fade dark spots over time.
