Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

Overall this product is pretty good it gives me big bouncy curls that last day and all night. My only complaint is that the clips don't hold very well when i clip them to the top potion of my hair and the roller ends up falling on my forehead. Other than that minor annoying detail I am very satisfied with this product!

Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

I use the rollers every now and again but not everyday. They heat up in under or at 5 minutes exactly like the box says. They can actually get super hot if you're not careful and burn your fingers though. The clamps used instead of the metal do not good the roller well at all. Make sure you have more than enough time to fight with these rollers in the morning or night. They don't like staying put! My curls come out looking great though! Bouncing, full and have a great healthy Sheen.

Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

These are easy to use, but as previous reviewers stated the clips are awful and leave marks on the hair. Also only left on about 5 minutes while using heat protectant and my hair was dry and matted. Overall, my hair looked absolutely awful when I took the rollers out. Spend your money on a set with pins, not clips.

Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

Clips DO NOT hold tightly- you can't walk around without them falling out. The outcome (the curl) is great! Con: the clips melt and are really hot on the fingers so it's difficult to handle them.

    Don't buy these

    Pros

    • Curl
    • Heat Time
    • Works Quickly

    Cons

    • Clip Lines
    • Plastic Melts
    • Rip Your Hair Out

    Best Uses

Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

I was really excited about these and the heated metal clip....until I used them. I have owned and used these for about 5 years. They curl your hair great!
But, the plastic on the clip melts leaving jagged plastic pieces (which rip your hair out). Due to the indention of the curlers and the way they sit on the metal rack, when you take the curler out your hair catches on the side of the hole and it literally rips your hair out.
Buy something else and stay away from these!

Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

I bought these rollers for not only myself but clients as well. While they did heat up fast and set even quicker i felt like i was left with dry, damaged hair afterwards. Trust me the look was horrid. Being a professional stylist i know what liquid products to prep three hair with before use but even that didn't work. My hair looked dry, brittle and over processed by just one use of these rollers and the curls were not as strong as i had hoped. Please don't even get me started with the clips...they're horrible. Didn't hold hair in place which could have caused the dents in the hair and i professionally thought the heated clip idea might have even caused the brittle look too. Please do your research before investing in a roller set and steer clear out these unless Remington would like to change a few aspects of this product to suit professional needs.

      Horrible Awful

      Pros

      • Great Refund By Remington

      Cons

      • Curlers Get Stuck
      • Weak Clips

      Best Uses

Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

This was one of the worst products I have ever purchased! The curlers are cheaply made, the clips are weak. I was forced to CUT a section of my hair just to get one of the rollers out! I have very thick hair, and even when I used a tiny section, the clips would not hold.

Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

Did not curl quickly at all. It took about 20 minutes to make ok curls, even though the box specifically said it holds curls in 5 minutes. Just not worth the time or money.

          Not for long hair

Comments about Remington T/Studio Silk Ceramic Heated Clip Setter:

I have very long hair that responds well to hot rollers. I got this set as a Christmas gift and was really excited to try them out...soooo many rollers! The rollers heat quickly, but they were not meant for long hair. Because of the thickness of the roller once I wrapped my hair around them, the clips could not hold them in place (clips don't go all the way around the roller). For shorter or medium length hair, I'm sure these will work fine. Unfortunately, I'm going to return them.
