Skin feels very soft and velvety in the morning. You only need a little bit. Very nice if you are looking for a little more than Hope in a Jar. I'm hitting 40 and wanted a little more out of my night cream. This does it!

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Night Intense Retexturizing Moisturizer:

First, let me just say pew! This stuff is really stinky... it has a bad chemical/stale smell to it. However, it works so well I don't care what it smells like! I'm only 25, but I've been starting to develop some fine lines on my forehead so I thought I would try this (I already use a lot of Philosophy's other products like Eye Hope and Purity). Wow! After one night of use, I can already see some of the fine lines have been greatly reduced in their depth and appearance. I can't wait to see what my skin looks like after 2 weeks! Also, I have very oily skin, but this product wasn't too heavy at all. It moisturized my skin just the right amount. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because of the stinky smell.

I use this cream at night after cleansing and give myself about 30 minutes before getting into bed to give it plenty of time to soak in. Love how thick it is and can feel it at work with just a slight tingle! A little goes a long way!

I use this in the am too under IT primer and CC cream. It creates a flawless (and I don't have flawless skin) canvas. Makes my face smooth. My sunscreen is in the CC cream. I have very dry skin. I will continue to buy this one.

After using at night time I found that when cleansing my face in the AM THE PRODUCT didn't absorb over night and felt very slick when dampening my skin. I feel it's a great product for extremely dry skin. I guess my skin wasn't as dry as I thought it was. You can't go wrong with PHILOSOPHY, you just have to find the right formula for your skin type.

Comments about Philosophy Hope In A Jar Night Intense Retexturizing Moisturizer:

I've finally found my forever nighttime moisturizer! I got a sample of the Hope In A Jar Day & Night creams and loved the Night one so much I purchased full size immediately. I could tell a difference in the smoothness and firmness of my skin in under a week, and with extended use (over a month now) it's only gotten better. Yes, the smell is a bit gross, but nothing terrible and it disappears quickly. A little goes a very long way so this is worth every penny! My skin is dry but (cystic) acne-prone and this hasn't caused any adverse effects. I've loved the glow my skin has when I wake up in the morning after use and have even stopped wearing foundation most days as I feel I no longer really need it!

Ive been using this product for about 2-3 weeks and i really like it. my skin feels so smooth in the morning. and i dont know if its me or if my skin looks a lot brighter. it definitely does a great job moisturizing my skin. i also read reviews where people were complaining about the smell - but it actually doesnt bother me at all... i have yet to see results on fine lines but ill keep using it and see what happens. also a little goes a LONGG way! you dont need a whole lot so its not bad for the price.

What is the difference between Hope in a Jar Night Cream and Miracle Worker Overnight Age Resetting Moisturizer? I am 45 and have fine lines and dry skin that I'd like to find a product for. I am currently using the regular Miracle Worker Anti-Age Cream but it does not tackle my dry skin spots very well. What is your recommendation?

                        A:

hope in a jar intense retexturizing moisturizer will address the beginning signs of aging, including fine lines, rough texture, and large pores. miracle worker overnight age-resetting anti-wrinkle moisturizer will specifically target the lines & wrinkles caused by the internal aging process, helping your skin to function as it did when it was younger. the miracle worker overnight moisturizer will address the dryness you are experiencing, while also improving the look of fine lines and wrinkles.

                    • Q:

In what way does this product retexturize the skin? I understand that it contains glycolic acid, an exfoliant, and that it helps with lines, but the product description claims that it smooths rough texture. I read the other questions and answers and it doesn't sound like this product will help acneic skin, which usually has a rough texture. I am looking for a product to help give me smoother skin. I have mild, albeit perpetual, acne, but I also have normal/dry skin that is too sensitive for salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide (even used sparingly causes excessive dryness and irritation), so I cannot use typical acne treatments.

                        A:

Glycolic acid (an AHA) assists in cellular turnover, meaning it helps to slough away dead skin cells more quickly to reveal new skin cells and smoother skin.

Because this moisturizer provides exfoliation, if you use it during the day, please make sure to use a facial sunscreen with SPF 30 or more layered over it to protect your renewed skin from sun damage.

This product contains glycolic acid in a unique qusome delivery system that lessens the potential for irritation, making it safe to use on sensitive skin. This moisturizer primarily addresses skin texture and the signs of aging. If breakouts are your primary concern, we suggest Philosophy Miracle Worker Miraculous Anti-Aging Moisturizer For Blemish Prone Skin (Item #: 2271931), which targets blemishes as well as the signs of aging:
