I have been using sunless tanners for about 4 years and would consider myself very good at applying them. I've used Fake Bake and St Tropez - I purchased Rayito de Sol to see if I could cut cost. Learned my lesson.

The nozzle is terrible. If you want the no-rub ease of a spray tan, this is not a good product. It dripped everywhere - I had to use gloves and a mitt to rub it in.

When they say "gradual" they do mean gradual! I couldn't see a difference after one application, so I can't comment on the color. I wasn't going to hassle more applications.

The smell wasn't exactly offensive... it was just weird. A little like grape cough syrup. At least it wasn't overpowering.

Moral of the story: you probably have to pay extra for a proper spray tan.

My sister always comments on how pale I am, so I bought this hoping it would change that. the first time I used it there was no noticeable difference, so I used it the next day, and it was looking a little better, since then I've used it two more times, and it gives really natural, gradual color (I'm naturally pale, and it doesn't look orange) The only thing is, after about 5-6 uses, it doesn't feel like there's much left.

This is easy to apply, doesn't clog pores and gives you nice even color!

I used the sprayer all over...it was easy to use & and the color looked great!!! Tan not orange!!!
